Inn at Haystack Rock

We stayed in the adorable cottage 9 that sleeps 10. It was centrally located with a quick walk to town for shopping & restaurants. You could also walk across the street and immediately see Haystack Rock and walk to it quickly. Beautiful grounds for the perfect family location!

Absolutely lovely stay. Plenty of room for my family and included a full kitchen. Walking distance to downtown and all the shops, as well as Haystack Rock. If I make it back to the Oregon Coast, I will definitely stay here again.

This is a great little get away in Cannon Beach! Convenient to walk to almost anything. And… we saw an Elk 2 blocks away! There is only one thing we hated… the walls are soooooo thin. :( We were jet-lagged from coming from the east coast and went to bed normal time between 8:30 and 9pm. We could hear the family next door as clear as day and had to put on the bathroom fan and some light music just to cover up their conversations.

The property is adorable and in such a great spot on the main strip, only a 3 minute walk to the water! The suite was just enough space for my family of 5. You might get some “bonding” opportunities sharing a single bathroom with your spouse and a handful of teenagers. There was a maintenance issue with the bathroom sink just not draining, we let the office know and they sent someone within a few minutes. Unfortunately they weren't able to fix the sink and it remained clogged. With an already tight bathroom and then not having a working sink, it was frustrating. Luckily you don't go to this part of Oregon to sit in your room so we were out and about even with the weather this time of year. The housekeeping team were so nice and professional and the rooms and bedding were crisp! There is a full blown fridge and stove with pots and pans ready to do some cooking. Not a lot of room but if yorue creative, id recommend making meals to save some $. The office should think about stocking cooking basics like oil, sugar, or seasoning because its unfortunate you have to buy a whole bottle of vanilla extract for 12$ just to throw it out after a few batches of french toast. Also a coat and shoe rack so the floor doesn't get wet/ sandy and gross if it happens to be raining🙃. That would be awesome! We’ll ne back next year and would stay here again, but might look at a couple other inns /suites.

There was inadequate parking available and the staff did not advise that we'd need to find street parking if the site parking spaces were full. Their literature said that the office was open until 9:00 pm but it was closed by 8:45 and there was no response to a message left on their answering machine. The bathroom had no grab bars and the tub bottom was slick making it very dangerous to use the shower. There was no non-skid bath mat available. The kitchen sink was a tiny bar sink making it very difficult to was dishes. We won't be coming back.

We had a great stay. The hotel is just a short walk to the beach, very convenient. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were perfect for our family of four and our two fur babies. Would definitely recommend. We will be back.

We saw 10 Elks ,probably a big Elk family,wow!

Parking options are a little bit limited, but otherwise this is a lovely place to stay. Many units have nice decks with tables for sitting outside. The beach is accessed by an easy walk, across a somewhat busy street, so need to be careful with young children when crossing

Office supposedly closed on Thursday at 9 pm, but when I came back w/bike to lock up at 8:45 pm, office was closed. Then I went at 9 am Friday to make sure they knew I had returned the bike, and it wasn't open yet, despite the posted hours. The room was very comfortable, shower pressure was divine, mugs in rooms very pretty and well equipped w/microwave, toaster, mini fridge, sink, TV and DVD player, fake fireplace (no instructions in room for how to turn on though, so I could not use it) and great bedding. Allowing dogs is nice but Cottage 3 next to me (I was in Cottage 4) barked several times early morning and late evening which disrupted my sleep. Family with young kids in Cottage 6 were also loud coming and going, often slamming the door. Fountain was pretty, fire pit was empty and unclear how to turn it on, free bike was awesome and proximity into town and 2 block walk to beach was perfect. I will definitely be back! Thank you.

We stayed in unit 9 it was amazing! Upstairs for kids loved it.
