Quality Inn & Suites

Good: The stay at this hotel was convenient to going The Wilds. It was in a decent location (a little further than I thought). The hotel was also close to a family restaurant (which I would not recommend) and gas stations. The price for staying here was very reasonable when being on a budget. Bad: The refrigerator in the room did not work what so ever. The continental breakfast ranked as one of the worst breakfasts we have ever had. My wife and I walked to McDonald’s which had better choices to choose from.

We had a smooth and easy check-in. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfy and met our needs perfectly. The front desk went out of their way to accommodate our large family needs by putting our rooms all near each other. The breakfast had Belgian waffles, eggs, bagels, yogurt, and cereal so also was sufficiently varied and welcoming.

The property was located in an easily accessible, safe area adjacent an elementary school and lots of quick dining right off the interstate. A pickup hauling a huge trailer parallel parked illegally along the sidewalk near the side road entering the hotel which subsequently prevented me from being able to easily get out of the parking spot. In addition, we had people above us who were stomping around all night. The rooms have no sound proofing. The baby next door crying sounded as if they were in our room. Finally, the breakfast was basically fragmented and no one was around to request anything. A family finished the milk in the fridge and a new container was not in the fridge. No staff in sight to ask for more. The eggs were over easy and rubber. None remained after I took the last one. No sausage in the container. It was a hot mess of nothing available. To boot, no recycling and styrophome cups - who still uses styrophome?
