La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dickinson

The lady who check us in was friendly, professional, and was scheduled for a night shift then a morning shift. Through the chaos that came with my family (2 kids and 2 dogs after being couped up in the car for 6 hours trying to stay ahead of the storm). She made check in a breeze. Thank you! I wish i could remember her name.

Front desk staff spent most their time outside smoking. Upon check out, front desk agent could not be bothered to get up from couch while watching TV. Hot tub was out of order and pool in sad state. When mentioning to front desk staff about the importance of a functional hot tub since I promised my child there would be one, I was told to bring it up with management later the next day. The room itself was relatively clean. Bathroom floor tile was loose and could probably be pulled up by hand. We were given a 1/4 roll of toilet paper with room. Overall, should have paid the extra $20 to stay somewhere nicer.

We have ALWAYS stayed at the LaQuinta when we come up for my son’s football games for the last two years and have always received stellar service. However, this time was vastly different. Front desk clerk was dismissive, she had her young child there for what seemed like her entire shift, the floors in the room were so dirty my feet were black with filth and the room was in disrepair. Very disappointing stay.

The concierge was extremely helpful and booked our 2 rooms together so that the kids would be near us.

Housekeeping came pounding on our door while my baby was sleeping two hours before checkout… I let them know after the third loud knock that we were still in there! I tried to speak to the manager about this but she was in a meeting and was supposed to call me back. I never got a call back. There was broken tiles on the bathroom floor that I cut my foot on… the pool was down and out of service. Overall, horrible experience.

It was quiet and the had a room big enough for a family of 6.

Clean and quiet. The hot tub was super warm and the kids anjoyed the pool.
