Aloft Mooresville

We were on the first floor. The hall was very dark because there was a light out. When having breakfast, $ 7.00 stale cereal was available, but they were out of milk. Are you kidding me? The front desk gentleman was not friendly and never smiled. The floor rug, just passed the entrance was badly stained. If it’s supposed to look like that, to go along with the very weird design of the whole place, it’s not a good look. I won’t be back.

I live this place. As soon as you walk it has a great set up and a lovely dog named Spot. Spot was friendly with adults and the kids we actually had a chance to take him for a walk super fun. I hope he gets a good home. Also I love that you gave dogs a chance to find a family. I wish more hotels did that it always make you stand out.

Its always amazing! I will stay here everytime we come to mooresville! I love seeing the pups in the lobby and the staff is always on point. The bartenders are super friendly and I love the music. We personally enjoy the pool the most of all especially for the kids

I arrived late and didn't realize the bar was closed when I walked up for a nightcap. The bartender (I'm so sorry I forgot your name, maybe Katie or Emily) was SO NICE and made me a drink even though they had been closed for 20 minutes. She was all smiles and it's been a really long time since I've seen someone so happy to be at their place of employment at 11:20pm. I was absolutely shocked and the drink was perfect. Thank you sweet woman. The hotel itself is clean and inexpensive. It's trying to be modern and minimalistic and the decor is just weird but who the heck cares. It's a place to sleep. My favorite feature was that the walk-in shower had the knobs by the door so you didn't have to get in to turn it on. Genius. My least favorite was the absolute black hole of a hallway. Normally I wouldn't care about a design choice, but the black ceiling and black walls late at night for a solo traveler made me feel uneasy, like when you're a kid and you know a ghost isn't following you but you still run to your bed anyway...you know what I'm talking about, don't deny it.

I liked the cleanliness. What I did not like was I rented two rooms for family. One room the bathroom door was broken and had no privacy. Nowhere to put clothes. The second room the air conditioning was broke and family members was very warm and uncomfortable. Why would you have a hotel fully booked on the weekend and no maintenance worker on call. I really do not understand that. The staff said no maintenance worker and did not seem to care that we were inconvenienced.
