Hotel Beacon

We just wrapped up a 10-day stay at Hotel Beacon in New York City, and it was the perfect spot for our family. Traveling with two small kids can be tricky, but this hotel made it much easier. The kitchenette in our room was an absolute lifesaver—having a place to whip up quick meals or snacks for the little ones was such a relief. It’s not something you find in every NYC hotel, so it really set this place apart for us. The location on the Upper West Side is fantastic. We were just a short walk away from the subway, which made getting around the city super convenient. Central Park is also close by, which meant plenty of green space for the kids to run around. Plus, there are tons of great local spots for coffee, groceries, and dining, so we always had options. The staff at Hotel Beacon were genuinely friendly and helpful. They made sure we had everything we needed and were great with our kids, which made the stay even more comfortable. We felt welcomed from the moment we checked in until the moment we left. Overall, Hotel Beacon gave us a great base to explore NYC, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend it, especially for families!

Great location, friendly staff, enough space for families

Staff was amazing! The beds were comfortable and the AC kept us cool with the heat outside. Good for families. Location was great. Easy access to the 123 and a Fairway across the street for any groceries.

Great location, grat place for families!

Perfect place for a family trip to NYC. 10-12 min walk to Central Park, close to subways, numerous great eateries. Convenient. Rooms with plenty of space (by NYC standards) and kitchen area has full sized fridge and even a stove/mini oven, all impressive for the rates!!!! Tons of large closets for storage. We had our 4 kids with us ages 4 to 14 and we all loved it.

I stayed here with family of three. I would definitely come back here to stay again!

We love the Beacon for its proximity to our old neighborhood, friends and family, Central Park and Lincoln Center. This trip was extra special because the staff, always very lovely, fussed over my husband for a milestone birthday. It meant so much to both of us. Our room was so quiet and comfortable that we both slept late, something that never happens at home. I’m jet lagged and don’t have the names in front of me of the fabulous desk manager and the young man who helped with our bags, but they were really terrific.

Stayed at the Hotel Beacon for a 2 night family trip to NYC. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade once we arrived. Our room was clean and comfortable. I was nervous about having to self park at a nearby garage but ended up being close a very easy process. We had a great stay and would stay again!

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful from the front desk to the bellmen to the housekeepers. I stay here several times a year to visit family. Love the Fairway market just across the street. Close to the subway and lots of good restaurants.

The hotel was great...we booked a suite for a family trip for a concert in the Beacon..we had an issue with a door in one of the rooms and reported it to the front desk...immediately it was taken care of to our satisfaction. Miguel was great and made sure we were happy. Had breakfast in Viand the next morning food and staff were great. Would stay again
