Hotel Beacon

We love the Beacon for its proximity to our old neighborhood, friends and family, Central Park and Lincoln Center. This trip was extra special because the staff, always very lovely, fussed over my husband for a milestone birthday. It meant so much to both of us. Our room was so quiet and comfortable that we both slept late, something that never happens at home. I’m jet lagged and don’t have the names in front of me of the fabulous desk manager and the young man who helped with our bags, but they were really terrific.

Stayed at the Hotel Beacon for a 2 night family trip to NYC. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade once we arrived. Our room was clean and comfortable. I was nervous about having to self park at a nearby garage but ended up being close a very easy process. We had a great stay and would stay again!

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful from the front desk to the bellmen to the housekeepers. I stay here several times a year to visit family. Love the Fairway market just across the street. Close to the subway and lots of good restaurants.

The hotel was great...we booked a suite for a family trip for a concert in the Beacon..we had an issue with a door in one of the rooms and reported it to the front desk...immediately it was taken care of to our satisfaction. Miguel was great and made sure we were happy. Had breakfast in Viand the next morning food and staff were great. Would stay again

Loved this hotel! The area is great, as a tourist you can walk everywhere but you still get to meet locals on the cafeterias, restaurants, supermarkets around the hotel. Its very close to a subway line that takes you to downtown. Minutes walk to central park as well. Fantastic location. The rooms were large, we had a suite since we were staying for a week and worked perfectly having a living room with sofa bed and two queens on the room. Also, one of our favorite things was to have a kitchen, so we didnt have to be at restaurants and cafeterias everyday/everymeal with the kids, and hest of all, there are two super markets just in front of the hotel. One of them is actually quite exquisite and has incredible seafood and meat. We were able to cook some breakfast and dinner when tired from all the walking in the city. Staff was very nice as well. Truly, highly recommend. There might be some areas like where the hotel plaza that might be a bit more central(10-15 minutes walk) , however all that area its extremely pack with cars and tourist, its great to see it but for us not to spend our entire holidays there, Beacon hotel its next to it but you get the local new york flavor!

Hotel Beacon feels like a home away from for my family. I love the Upper West Side and the hotel is in the perfect location. It’s so homey and comfortable and the staff is lovely.

After a long Thanksgiving day parade, dinner with family ….Bathroom had freshly cut hair on sink open toothpaste tube etc. Gross- still waiting for a call back from management-

We stay at the Beacon whenever we visit our kids. Which is a couple times a year. We love the location, service, comfort and cleanliness. An excellent property.

Great hotel in upper west side. Highly recommend to stay in this area. Supermarket opposite the hotel, great coffee around, behind the hotel on Amsterdam Ave. Easy walk to Central Park and midtown. Great eating options, Little Italy Pizza is few blocks down. Great to stay with family in a suite, as you get a kitchen, and a separate room to put the kids to sleep, opposed to most hotels in New York.

Hotel Beacon is well located, in a great neighborhood on the upper west side. Hotel is well cared for. Nice option for a family or couple. No complaints.
