We had a wonderful stay at ICONA with our 2 small children. Having access to the balcony from both the bedroom and living area was great so we could sit outside after the kids were in bed.

Best thing about this resort was the staff—very friendly! Second best thing was the beach service—umbrellas, chairs, towels. Also the pool was great. Loved the chicken tenders ordered poolside, didn’t love the beach bar food. Found the separation between the bedroom and living area nice, but didn’t love the tightness of the bedroom and placement of bathroom. Overall, I would go back, but would only sleep 1 family/couple per room. Sleeper sofa mattress was too thin, but bed mattresses were comfy.

We absolutely love ICONA Diamond Beach Resort... however, there is NEVER enough parking and if there is a large event, such as CHEERLEADING COMPETITIONS, KIDS WEEKEND EXTRAVAGANZA, it should be in the newsletter or the regular guests that aren't with the group should be put on higher floors, so you don't hear the constant running, slamming of doors, screaming, cartwheels, no room in elevators, etc. My family and I have stayed in ICONA Diamond Beach many times, for regular visits and also New Year's Eve Celebrations... We love how it is always immaculate, staff is friendly and helpful always... it's just we would love when we ask if there is a kids event to be known, being a couple with no children or getting out for the weekend with other adults for an overnight stay... My brother & sister in law, Steve & Justine Davis absolutely love you location and are always treated like royalty and it is greatly appreciated by all of us! Parking is ALWAYS an issue, and now that they are renovating the building next door and the dumpsters, and heavy equipment are taking up valued real estate for parking.
We had just lost our 3 year old Yorkie puppy Remii the same week we visited and just wanted to get away from our tears and sorrow and decided ICONA was the peaceful place to do that. We had a balcony room, the sun was shining and it helped very much.
We will be back, on a happier occasion hopefully with our family next time! Just a heads up about CHILDREN EVENTS would be A ! Kim :)

Great stay for a great price during the off season! Was the perfect size for our family of 4! Being able to walk right on to the beach was great. Hotel staff was very helpful and responsive.

Enjoyed an off season stay in Cape May at this friendly, clean hotel right on the beach. Our room had a small balcony perfectly angled to watch the sun come up with a cup of coffee. The staff was excellent and made us feel like family. The attached restaurant has a diverse menu to fit most people and a wonderful bar area.

Great quiet location between Wildwood and Cape May. Rooms are updated and clean. Really like the dual entrants to the balcony (from living room and bedroom). The bathroom is extremely small which might be problematic for families with really young children. The private beach did not feel crowded even during Memorial weekend. The only negative was the restaurant. Though the wait staff was polite and attentive, the food was subpar and over priced for anything other than breakfast. That said, we had a lovely holiday weekend, and enjoyed the live music near the beach. Would consider staying here again.

The room we stayed in could really use a renovation. Chipped tiles, broken and rusty bathroom fixtures, cold blueish lights, etc. the worst part was the heater. The night we stayed was 50-60 degrees. When we turned on the heat, there was a terrible burnt dusty odor that blew out of the vents. Made it impossible to stay in the room, especially with a baby. We had to quick turn it off and open the balcony doors to air out the room. It was late so we didn’t bother to ask for a room change. Certainly not a 4 star hotel.

The staff was great and a beautiful beach to boot. My kids loved the pool too! Only one downside, food is ok.
