Travelodge by Wyndham Hawthorne

When we got to the room, there was a laminated sheet stating the ‘rules’: $100 deposit (refundable), how long you could stay in 1 room, etc. It was very off-putting & made me feel like I was in a skid-row room. The clerk at the front desk who checked us in was amazing, but the girl there in the morning was awful. The room was spotlessly clean - huge bathroom area. But we had 2 dogs & had asked to be accommodated in advance & they put us in upper rooms. Lower would have been so much easier,

Great Value. Big familyroom.

Room was clean and check-in easy. We needed a roll away and they had it in the room when we arrived late at night, which we appreciated. Only negative was there were 5 of us (including grandkids) and they only had 3 washcloths and towels. Guess they can't think of everything.😉

They have a two-room option that works great with the kids. Everyone must have been trying to use the hot water at the same time in the morning because it took a while to get there.

The staff was very friendly. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was really big but the layout was so that only one person could use it at a time. The sinks, toilet, shower, and closet were all in one area which is fine but a little awkward for a family. The restaurant, El Capitan was across the street so we ate there for dinner. I wished the hotel had breakfast, that would’ve made the experience even better.

Horrible experience. Got a smoking room while i asked for non smoking one. Hotel parking was empty but when ask to change to non smoking staff said no availibility. The room smelt horrible. And was upset as was with kid

Perfect little stop on our trip for a good nights sleep. Hot water and good pressure. The two queen rooms are a great size for family. On our recent trip to AZ from OR we stayed two nights, one there and one our way home. We stayed in two different rooms and I honestly feel like they both had the same amount of space even though they were different layouts. Highly recommend this for families traveling.

This hotel was a very convenient stop for our family on a long road trip to Disneyland (6-7 hours away!) It beat any other options within that distance from SoCal in price and room offerings and was very conveniently close to the highway and had drive up parking, making loading and unloading very easy. The Family Suite we stayed in, with its extra room, was perfect for our family of 4 kids (including a baby). The staff was friendly and helpful, and the check-in and check-out process was very fast and efficient. The room seemed well maintained and was clean, although the bathroom door stuck a bit and the shower faucet handle was set up in a weird way. The back bathroom area had a little built-in desk and comfortable office chair, which was a nice feature.

This hotel was a great stay for our family road trip. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The kids enjoyed the pool. We stayed here twice: on our way out and on our way home. We will definitely stay here again.

Liked the location for the events. However, upon arrival to our room we discovered live cockroaches in the restroom area. I personally picked up one of the roaches and took it to the front desk. Nothing was done about this and no one was contacted to resolve the issue. Additionally we made these reservations to this specific motel because it offered, as a selling point, that there was an open pool area. This was the only reason we picked this motel so our children could enjoy our stay. So main attraction not available and roaches in our room. Not a positive experience for our family.
