Ramada Hotel & Conference Center by Wyndham Columbus

I didn’t stay at the hotel, their pool was closed. I had two smaller kids and that’s the whole reason I booked the room in the first place. I tried to get a refund, no one seemed to be able to help me

We stay at this hotel for the pool area and delicious breakfast. The only negative is this time we were given a balcony room overlooking the dance floor of a wedding (which we were not attending). The hotel was full so couldn’t move us. Makes it challenging for kids to sleep with a party happening outside your door. A good place to stay but the planning could have been better.

Booking was great, super simple and easy! Check-in seemed to go well, until i had to ask which room number and which way to go! My kids were excited to go swimming as there is this pirate ship and water slides, the only reason why I booked here over other hotels in the area! Upon booking it said heated, I'm not sure what their definition of heated was but no way the heater worked or was on, cause I'm pretty sure I could have gotten water about that temperature from the fridge! My kids didnt even get wet from waist up or last more then 5 minutes and were done as it was to cold! The next morning at breakfast, we had more problems too, plates for starters, there was none, bowls were next, nope out of those too! Finally they brought plates out and bowls a while later, so i got the food dished up for my kids, waffles for one and cereal for the other, no milk! Then my other child asked for something to drink, we had cups but no milk, the juice machine had a sign saying it was broke and well the ice water container had about two cups of ice only in it! Upon leaving, was told check out is 11a, we started taking stuff out to the car around 1030a, surprise our keys wouldnt open any doors to get in! We thought we had everything and realized we forgot a phone, i went to the front desk and explained that we forgot a phone in the room, she looked at me like i was crazy before i got issued a key to go grab it! I am honestly shocked they costed as much as they did, considering my stay!

I paid $180 for one night in Columbus, NE. Not exactly a destination stay! The lady at the front desk was very kind. Not one place online mentioned a complimentary breakfast. Not one hotel employee mentioned it upon checking in to our room. Very disappointed in our stay. It was from 6-10 am. I hope the 900 kids I saw and their families were told about it. Glad I paid $180 to stay with my family for one night and not even get a free meal out of it. Will not recommend the Ramada to anyone.
