Comfort Suites Jackson-Cape Girardeau

This was one of my worst experiences in hotel! First of all the place was not very well Kept, and Secondly, there was people donw the hall fighting and yelling. They also had kids running down the hall until midnight. There's not much of a selection for snacks or food at the hotel either.

There was a bunch of kids with their coaches and the coaches sat downstairs while the kids were running around the halls slamming doors half the night called front desk he said he would take care of it went down stairs and talked to him and went down for a third time and he finally moved them The front desk lady checked us in we went to the room and was getting ready for a wedding and she just walked in our room she said she was making sure it was clean didn’t knock we went to the pool and all the kids were screaming and running around in there as well Not enjoyable at all lost a lot of sleep

The property was really nice the staff was friendly the only thing disappointing was the pool was already closed at 7:00 when it's specifically stated it was going to be open till 10:00 but the gentleman at the desk told me and another family that it was closed for cleaning on the cameras there was nobody in there cleaning and it looked clean I was more upset for my kids because they were excited about getting to swim and then they got disappointed.

1st thing that upset me was…I went to check in and the lady behind closed he counter didn’t even acknowledge me, she was talking on her cell phone. Once she got off the phone she said a couple choice word and finally walked over to me. We were hear from out of town, I have 3 children that wanted to swim after being outside all day. The pool room was very dirty. Old towels laying everywhere. The biggest disappointment was that the pool heater wasn’t even turned on. 2 of my kids got in the pool for maybe 4 mins and froze! My 2 year old wouldn’t even get in it. When we went to front desk to ask about the lady was very rude and said even she turned it up it wouldn’t be warm until tomorrow. It’s November!! Why wasn’t it on in the first place!? We found another hotel that had vacancy and a heated pool. Comfort Suites would not give me a refund for their mistake. My family and I are very disappointed in this hotel and will never stay at a Comfort Suites again. All I wanted was for my children to have a good time, and no one seemed to care that the pool was freezing and dirty.

We checked in late due to traveling all day. In town for a funeral, we were exhausted and ready for bed. The room looked acceptable when we arrived but the next morning, with more light, I noticed the duvet had dried ketchup or something that looked like that on it. As we were getting ready to leave, I pulled the desk chair out and noticed a wrapper in the chair. We had a 4 year old child with us that picked up what appeared to be part of the desk chair wheel at first glance, but ended up being a vape/ smoking unit. I was very unhappy and asked the housekeeper to look at the item and she thought it was a web cam at first and took it to the front desk manager. When I got to the front desk, the attending manager just said “it isn’t loaded”, obviously not as concerned or upset as I was. I explained how dangerous it was for it to even be in there and told her about the uncleanliness of the bed. She advised she could do nothing but have her manager call me, I have still heard nothing at this point. We planned to stay another night in the area, but never again here!

I feel the hotel and others r way overpriced for this area. Bathrooms very small with very cheap shampoo and conditioners. Makeup remover was provided and appreciated. Tv in room should have been a lot bigger. Tv was very small. Beds and bedding was great. Breakfast was also better then usual. Hotel was full and noisy with lots of kids running up and down hallways.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The kids enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was enjoyable with a good selection of foods to choose from to eat. Located near many restaurants and a Wal-Mart store just down the road. The rooms were nice with a comfortable sitting area. The only issues I had were the AC didn't cool the room fast enough and the main light in the bathroom didn't work.

We were exhausted from the day. After eating at a nearby pub it was nice to come back to a clean and very comfortable bed. We will be going back 9/22 for family weekend.

My family and I had one of our greatest hotel experiences ever! We enjoyed the hotel probably more than we did at the waterpark. It was a great price for the amenities and even after we left the park we still had time to play at the hotel. :-)
