Quality Inn and Suites

Did not get room we booked, hotel is older but needs a thorough cleaning of the rooms. Stains on carpet, found a baby’s sleeper under side of the bed.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well maintained. The carpet in the hallways and on the stairs looks stained and a little dated. While going upstairs there was a strong odor of Marijuana coming from one of the rooms. Thankfully it wasnt noticeable once inside our room. The pool is open until midnight. We had a late check in so the kids loved that they still got to enjoy it. Really loved the later checkout of 11. Gave us time to sleep in and tKe our time checking out.

terrible ice machine broken elevator broken pool closed room smelled like dog pee . wasnt just me .. grandkids even noticed it also never again will i stay there . the room smelled so bad. send this review to your boss also .

Hotel was dirty. Rooms dusty and floors or vacuumed. I had reserved and paid for rooms for family that was coming in for a funeral. They would not allow me to use my credit card for check in even when that credit card was used to pay for the room. Embarrassing and stressful trying to get family settled in. Also breakfast was cold. Eggs cold biscuits cold. No bread to toast. Awful experience

As I am handicapped the room myself, my daughter and her two children stayed in was NOT handicap accessible. I could Not take a shower or get into my bed easy without having to ask my daughter or grandson to lift my legs for me to get in bed. The stool was too low to even be considered handicap accessible. When I made my reservation in special comments or request I put would like a handicap accessible room and on first floor as I’m in a wheelchair and my daughter has a newborn along with an older son and a service dog. And to top it all off the pool was closed for maintenance

Rooms were large and spacious and plenty of room for our family of 5. Staff was very friendly and attentive to needs. Easy freeway and back road access to Joplin and surrounding areas. Will likely stay here again.

Everything was good except the toilet I think it was meant for a child it was so low. At checkout I was told the printer didnt work (again) and it would be emailed to me. I never received an email receipt. This property always has some kind of issue

We were only at Carthage for an overnight trip for a family event. Outside the entrance door,the first greeting was the heavy smell of cigarette smoke. THEN, upon entering, the strong smell of must. The pool was closed due to an incident in the pool,so no swimming for our niece & nephews. The smell of must lingered in our room. I'm glad we brought Lysol. The tv's remote control was completely sticky to the touch. Even when we used a tissue to wrap around it, the tissue stuck to the remote. I could say more, but won't. I dont enjoy saying negative things in reviews. I'm so sorry. Our choices of hotels in Carthage was pretty limited.
