Bay Inn

Hotel was dark and outdated. Rooms were darker outdated as well. Hot tub was stagnant. Pool had visible dirt all over the bottom of it. Checked in, checked out the pool area and went to check out the room. Immediately found another hotel and left. Wasn’t there longer than 10 minutes and didn’t even bring our bags in. When I called to cancel our booking, I was charged $350 being told there is no cancelling of reservations. It’s was absolutely disgusting and I was still charged for “cancelling” was told my card will be charged and then within 30 days I would get my money back for the room charge only. That’s over $1000 on my card for up to 30 days because the hotel was so disgusting and dirty I wouldn’t keep my child there. Absolutely ridiculous! Never again!

We had a good stay. We can take our dog and close to the beach.Great place to stay when we visit family in Tawas. 😊

My 2nd time staying here - this time with a 30 pound dog. Simple basic room that has dated decor. This isn’t a fancy place but I would return. I’m more concerned with safety and cleanliness. Also - staff is nice and several families seemed to be enjoying the pool.

Staff was very nice. Owner was regularly onsite and very pleasant. My kids loved the pool and breakfast was good. Hotel won’t wow you with amenities but was clean and nice.

This will be the third time my family has stay at the Days Inn. Nice rooms, cont. breakfast and pool. Tawas City beach less than 1/4 mile away. Birder friendly and great rates.
