Great property and classic vibes. No AC in our room but didn’t need it due to cooler night. Walls are a bit thin so I would not recommend lots of children playing in rooms. Overall great experience with great service and accomadating staff

Definitely a family run operation and run down with a lot of potential. Needs to be renovated and staffed properly, including accessibility throughout property. Not easy for wheel chairs or strollers, and parking lot is very strange and narrow. Beautiful views of you get the right room, be careful what you book, you could wind up in a different building with no views that’s a considerable walk away from amenities.

The staff is always welcoming, the rooms, while small, are neat and clean. The resort sits on a hill with a great view of the ocean. We really enjoy the sense of security, freedom to walk around the property and the family atmosphere.

Great family hotel, but even the more modern rooms could use updating - old carpets and not squeaky clean. Fantastic location with beautiful views. Staff was very friendly and helpful, yet service around the pool for drinks and tidiness should be improved. Very dog friendly.

It's old, quirky and not for everyone-- no tvs, no ac -- but for those appreciating a beautiful place with a lovely pool, a private beach and an amazing view, it's paradise. Very family friendly and dog friendly too. We've stayed several times and will return!

This is a beautiful, grand old property that takes you back to a graceful, guilded era. Love the hotel, grounds, and staff. The room was lovely but a bit on the small side, and the downside, in this hot summer, was no AC. But the ocean view and breezes were wonderful. With the ceiling fan on high, we slept comfortably. The large salt water pool is fabulous. But the very best part of staying there, for my friend and I, is that they allow all kinds of dogs. It was a treat to see dogs enjoying a vacation with their family and to interact with them. The dogs were well behaved and a welcome addition to the relaxing ambiance of the place. Would definitely return!

Beautiful historic hotel, with outstanding views overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and wonderful staff. Immaculate room. Because it is historic, dating back to 1914, the decor reflects the time. Bubblegum pink walls and wallpaper adorn the bedrooms in the BIG HOUSE, where we stayed. True to its time, the big house does not have Air Conditioning or TVs in the rooms - but there is WIFI throughout! It was charming and retro! The complimentary breakfast buffet was generous and delicious. My son has stayed here with his family in other cottages on site that do have AC and TVs - so if it will be warm when you visit you may want to book that. We were there in September and were perfectly comfortable. This hotel is totally "green" and environmentally friendly, and though we were in the big house, it was very modernized. The bathroom was bright and roomy.
