Best Western Plus Stevens County Inn

The hotel stay was pretty nice to be honest. The included breakfast was really fantastic. A lot of good options to choose from, the danishes looked old though. There were other guests there that definitely disturbed our stay. They were mucking about the hotel property tasing each other with a taser! Three grown adults. Making excess noise. These adults had propped the door from the pool room that leads outside open and were tasing each other outside while me and my daughters swam. The men came back inside and saw us. Engaged us a little in casual conversation- how’s the water? Etc one made a comment to the other about how he should get his swimsuit on and go get a girlfriend. It was me (Female), my 16F, 13F, and 7F. Then they left the pool area and came back with a case of beer, dinner, and cigarettes. They sat at a table, played loud music, ate their dinner, drank their beers, and smoked their cigarettes. They tried to offer us all some of their dinner. It was just clear from their interactions with us that they were there to try to engage with us, while me and my minor children were trying to enjoy a swim. And smoking indoors? Boooo! I did not complain to the hotel staff, primarily because I didn’t feel safe to do so. If I complained- they would know it was me, I’m here alone with my kids, and they have a taser. It felt safer to just cut our swim time short. This isn’t a reflection on the hotel itself I guess - but the other guests definitely tainted our stay.
