Comfort Suites Manhattan

We visited Manhattan KS for a wedding. We chose a king room with a couch that pulled out to a bed. It was perfect for a quick trip with my husband and 2 kids, 13 & 9. We all enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and felt like it was a safe area. It is close to Walmart and several restaurants. Would stay here again.

First and foremost, the young man on desk duty Saturday afternoon greeted me as family. So very warm with his words and smile. A true genuine smile. That when I went back to check for my misplaced wallet, he was still sweet and kind to tell me it wasn't turned in, and will on a lookout for it. I found it in the room, but that young gentleman truly understands customer service. Like most Comfort Suites, it lacked nothing. If in the area, I would definitely be a repeat customer.

We have stayed here multiple times love it, kids love the pool and hot tube is nice. Friendly and helpful staff! Large nice rooms great for families!

It was a quiet location and several amenities that appealed to the kids. Would happily return here on another trip to see Kansas State.

We had a family reunion and all stayed at your hotel. It was very nice. We did wish for some seat outside so we could set and visit out in the evening. We found a couple picnic tables and use them and some of us had brought our own folding chairs. A nice outdoor seating area would be a nice addition to your hotel.

It would have been nice for breakfast to have startrd at 6:00 a.m. Our group was in Manhattan for 4-H contests and the kids needed to leave at 6:15 to head to campus.

This was my family's second time to stay here. The location is very convenient to getting anywhere in Manhattan. We all slept very comfortably and enjoyed the pool and spa.

We normally stay at nicer hotels but booked this one because they offered a pool and hot tub. Our grandsons wanted to swim. The furniture in the lobby was NASTY! Looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. Very stained. Our room was ok, mold in the bathroom, lots of broken tiles and chipped paint in the main room. Very basic and not very clean. The hot tub was broken and dirty and the pool area was extremely unsafe. But none of that was as bad as the moment we got kicked out because the cleaning staff accused our barely seven year old grandson of being a flaming racist! I couldn’t believe it! They manager chewed us out without even asking our side of the story. Btw.. there is no other side of the story. The exchange where he allegedly said these horrible and extremely cliché things NEVER HAPPENED!!! He didn’t even talk to them. But! Management wouldn’t hear of it! They kicked us out with a scolding. They said we were never welcome to come back again, as if I would ever want to anyway. In case you’re wondering, what they accused my grandson of saying was, and I quote: “Are you Mexicans? You need to learn to speak English or else go back to Mexico because this is America and we speak English here. Remember, this was allegedly out of the mouth of a child that just turned seven. He doesn’t even know what Mexico is. No one in our family talks like that and neither does he. No clue why they lied on him like that, what’s to gain?
