Front desk staff day and night are a great group of people. The rooms could be a little cleaner in the corners but overall fairly clean. Breakfast was well stocked and had something for everyone. Food was tasty. Of course you do need to season to your tastes but that is expected. Breakfast overall great. The pool was nice. The only issue was with kids not leaving when adult only swim came. They were with a very large group so I am guessing staff may not have felt comfortable trying to enforce.

The hot tub and pool had way too much chlorine and our kids and my husbamds eyes birned all weekend and 2 of our kids had chlorine rash/birn on their legs

Stayed here twice on a family trip. The staff was very nice, the room was quieter than in most hotels (despite being close to the pool), and we liked the 2-bedroom suite so that our young child could be on the fold-away bed and the grown-ups could be in our own room. The pool and hot tub were great for family fun. Breakfast was standard fare but nice, with both a waffle maker and pancake maker. We have also stayed in the Microtel in Clear Lakes, which is also nice, but having the 2 rooms and the pool was better for us.

As always, we love staying here. We feel like family, and know the cat is also always welcomed. Breakfast is a treat, too! Hot, plentiful, and many options.

It was exactly 11 oclock. We were taking suitcases to car. We have kids in the room with do not disturb sign while we go back and forth to car. Housekeeping lets themselves in, unannounced and tells the children "It's 1, you need to leave" Will not be back.

This was a stopping of point on our way from Field of Dreams to Mount Rushmore. We would stay again. Pool was just what the kids needed. Breakfast was great. Room was ok nothing special.

I found the receptionist to very rude and uncooperative. I was in town for a funeral and didnt need the room. I understood i would still be bulled but i had asked if a different family member could use my room with 2 beds. At no time did she tell me she needed to see my id. It was only mentioned after she knew I had said I was going back to another state. 1st time staying with this hotel and I definately won't return.

I booked the fireplace/jetted hotub room and wasn't having very high standard because the price was so low but honestly it was awesome! I wasn't suppose to have the kids with us and the staff was very understanding. They even rolled in two cots for me and didnt charge me. It was nice
