Hotel was located close to family, and convienient to places to eat, etc. Room was very clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was standard continental (waffles, fruit, coffee, etc) and there was plenty of it. The only issue I had was the mattress, it was a poor quality and offered little support. I normally can sleep on concrete or a cloud, but the one in our room was just bad. I would stay here again, because of all the other benefits.

Country feeling, warm and cozy. No stress, no noise, no kids. And, the coffee was excellent.

The bedding had a stain on it and the bathroom had hairs. The beds were not comfortable. My entire family complained about not getting a good night’s sleep.

Room was super basic. Shower had good water pressure. Breakfast was ok but needed to stay stocked better, as we had a rush of soccer kids all eating at the same time. Staff was very nice and attentive.

The staff was amazing! The property was dated. They seemed to be short staffed. Our toilet clogged and the staff person could not bring the plunger because she couldn't leave the front desk since she was the only person there. Unfortunately we did see a few baby roaches in the room. Thankfully, The staff did give us another room. The rooms were very thinly insulated so that we could hear the neighbors. Having a group of teens that weekend was not great. There a guy, who smelt up the elevator with the smell of weed, a couple was having sex and could be heard well in the hallway, there was a wedding group who were extremely loud in the rooms and hallways. These things couldn't be avoidable but made our stay not very restful for our competition the next day. While you can't know who will be the guests at a hotel, the hotel can update the insulation to keep us from hearing the other guests so easily, they will need an exterminator, they do need to shampoo their carpets leading the 2nd floor.

The staff here was so kind and friendly. We were in the area for a death in the family and they treated us with compassion. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Beds were a little harder than we are used to- but we sleep in memory foam so it’s hard to complete. Very safe area. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

We first pulled up and saw a great curb appeal. I thought it was going to be super nice inside by the looks of the outside. The interior of the whole place needs an update. It was in need of a total renovation. Carpets were dirty looking and wore out. The rooms walls are paper thin. We heard a whole conversation on one side and a baby crying on the other wall. It's not very insulated. At 2:30 am there was big screaming match outside our window in the parking lot between a man and women. Cussing the whole time enough to wake up my young son. We felt like we were staying in a cheap interstate hotel. The staff was great, the outside looked really good, and the breakfast was pretty good. No complaints there but we just were not impressed with the inside at all. We will be marking this one off our to stay at list.

Family weekend in the area. Just my wife and I stayed. Everything was very good. We have family in the area. We stay in Rome often. This is the best hotel we have found in the area.

When friends and family members come to Rome, this is where I have them stay. It is hands down the best value in town.
