Holiday Inn Express and Suites Moultrie, an IHG Hotel

I’m so disappointed. We arrived and service was great, room was as expected. It was clean - no issues. We stayed two nights. We woke up the day we were leaving and there were dozen baby German cockroaches all in the bathroom. I had woken up in the middle of the night because I felt something go across my arm. Although they weren’t these huge roaches, the thought of there being that many I was absolutely disgusted. Unfortunately we won’t ever return due to seeing these bugs.

Easy to access my room. Ten dollars was charged to my room abd anything I prchased from near the front desk would be deducted from that (I prchased a ginger ale) and the rest returned. So far that ginger alw codst $10.00. I would prefer they not assume we would purchase $10 of anything. Will I get my money back. Also my card would not open the door (either card) until I tried numerous times. It would turn green, but not click open. There were a lot of noise coming from the air/heat conditioning. A huge rumbling. Fortunately for me, I was exhausted from staying at the hospital with family the night before and extremely tired. The room was clean, designed great, and otherwise a great place to stay. I guess you give this room to Expedia guests and save money.

We had a great stay. The indoor pool was small, but nice enough for our family of 5. The beds were very comfortable and the a/c worked great. They offered a variety of breakfast options and the food was good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here!

This hotel was not up to par by any means. The indoor pool and hot tub was green. The direcTV in the room did not work. The fridge in the room was frozen and didn’t cool- we had to throw out our leftover food from the night before. The lobby restrooms were DISGUSTING. We are moving to the area and house hunting so we opted to stay here because it had an indoor pool for the kids. GROSS POOL. It needs some serious chlorine or something. EXTREMELY disappointed. The front desk people were very friendly and apologetic and the day manager said she would come our room but need to contact Hotels.com since we booked through them. I’m not holding my breath for a refund-we’ll see. Fair warning, if friendly people but dirty hotels are your thing, this is the place for you.

I was in town for the funeral of my father and my family occupied several rooms on the property. The general manager and her front staff were extremely accomodating and courteous. The GM was awesome!!! However, I discovered roaches in my room and I almost checked out, but under the circumstances, I stayed.
