Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Atlanta Buford/Mall of Georgia

We had a family wedding in the area and many of our relatives stayed here at The Fairfield Inn which was licated in a convenient and safe area. The guest rooms and overall facilities are in good shape and the breakfast area and lobby were also good. We found all staff to be friendly and helpful. I would come back again if we ever do something in the area again!

Definitely a good place to go and relax solo or with the family they will see me again

The room was spacious for a family of 4. The bathroom door was broken but we didn’t let that bother us. Tv was small being a Marriot hotel. Breakfast was ok.Customer service was excellent though. They have an indoor pool which my son loved. Overall I’ll give it maybe a 7/10. It’s close to everything we needed. So it worked for us.

The property was beautiful and well kept. Very good breakfast. I stayed for a week at the property and could not get my room serviced unless I asked for fresh towels. Then, it was only to pick up dirty towels and take out trash. I booked my room for a week and also booked one night for a coworker. The coworker had a family emergency and had to cancel. However, I was unable to cancel her room. I kept asking to speak to a Manager. I was told repeatedly that a Manager would call me, but they never did. I visited the front desk numerous times asking for help, but never got it. On the day of my check out, I was told that since I booked the room through Hotels.com, they had to help. This did not work either. I was told by hotels.com that their policy did not allow for a cancellation due to any reason. Customer service at the hotel and at hotels.com was not acceptable.

Only reason I didn't rate excellent was the room above us had a child running and jumping off the bed. They did this for hours and finally I called the front desk at 10:20 pm. Second night we were awoken by the child at 11:30 pm. I will say the staff was very helpful

The front desk lady was very nice, the rooms are a little small but comfortable besides the old Brown chair in the corner. The pool was heated do it was nice. It was clean & quiet. Biggest complaint is the breakfast. There was oatmeal & cereal. Bagels & muffins. A waffle maker but the only hot food they offered contained pork it was a bagel with egg cheese & pork or sausage biscuits. My family of 5 doesnt eat vpork so that left us with the waffles & ice cold hard boiled eggs. They should have scrambled eggs by Themselves or turkey options, i expected more from a Marriot location.

We were first time visitors to Buford, GA and attended a family wedding. The location was great and the staff was super friendly. Continental breakfast was nice, but would like to have had some breakfast protein such as bacon or sausage. Other than that, it was a great stay.

Lovely accommodations for our family while our water was off (busted pipes... waiting for plumber). Loved the eco-friendly touches (minimal packaging, recycling, etc.). The world seems a little nicer today.
