Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Albany, an IHG Hotel

I had a great experience. All the staff i met was so friendly. The staff was like family. From tbe front desk to the housekeeper. I loved my stay. Great job staff 👏

I made my reservation through Expedia without issue. On the day of check in, someone called me from the hotel at 446p and again at 447p. I missed the call, but called back at 450p and got no answer. I got there and checked in about 20 minutes later amd asked about the call but got no explanation. I did not go up to the room to check on it because i had a family event to go to. I got back to the hotel with my brother (who was also in from out of town) and upon getting to the room, found they had not given us the room i booked. I booked a room with two beds and they gave us a room with one. I talled to the manager the next morning and she was able to verify the desk workwr jad givem our room to someone else at 426p. She said she couldnt refund anything since i didnt make the reservation through them, but assured me she would "make it right" by instead giving me points on my IHG account. Well, she lied and didnt do that. If you make reservations at this location, dont expect to get what you paid for and if they mess it up and ypu call them out, dont expect them to make it right

Overall everything was great. The shower was messed up but fixed promptly and the manager gave my kids a stuffed turtle while they fixed it, so very nice gesture to make things right. Staff was very friendly and breakfast was awesome.

I was in Albany for 4 nights and 5 days to visit my daughter who was in Phoebe hospital, therefore I didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel. The time I did spend there the staff was very friendly, professional, and helpful. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. I was most impressed with the bathroom, I am a senior citizen and traveling alone, my kids were concerned with me possibly falling getting in and out of the bathtub, to my surprise I was provided a room equipped with many support bars throughout the entire bathroom. Will definitely stay at Holiday Inn Xpress on my next trip to Albany, will also recommend it to my family and friends.

We had a great stay only stayed 1 night. We went for family reunion would stay agian.
