Tides Inn Hotel

We just spent 4 nights at Tides Inn. It is a very cute boutique hotel. We enjoyed the pool it was clean and warm and not busy. Our room was nice and the bed was comfortable (apt #8.) The Inn was clean and the staff were friendly. We arrived early and they let us check in before check in time, which was much appreciated. A few things to note. #... I was uncomfortable that there was no deadlock on the room door and anyone with the code could just enter the room. In addition there was a door in our room that was to a connecting room. That door was opened TWICE by cleaning staff while we were in bed. Unacceptable invasion of privacy and made us feel very uncomfortable. #2...I booked this specific room because I need to cook for my gluten free son. The photos online make it look like there is a microwave AND an oven. There is no oven. There was a countertop microwave and a broken built in microwave. I struggled to make the meals I had bought ingredients for because I did not notice before I went shopping. Many items I bought needed up in the garbage. #3... There was not much to do around the hotel. The little town nearby was mostly loud bars and restaurants. We ended up spending a lot of money on Ubers to find things for our young child to do. We really enjoyed the Ft. Lauderdale Children's Science Museum of Discovery.

Enjoyed a 3 night stay at Tides Inn while visiting family nearby. Great location, terrific recent renovations, nice pool, direct access to the beach, plenty of places to eat nearby. We highly recommend the Tides Inn!!

Nice little gem on the beach. Perfect for family getaways.

Location is great being right on the beautiful beach. However, this is an older motel that has been renovated and the walls are thin so you will hear your neighbors quite a bit. In our room, unit 11, the beds were very low, like toddler bed low. Also, they seemed short, even for double mattresses. If you are 6’ tall or more your feet will hang over the end. Also the bathroom only has a pedestal sink and there are no shelves to put your bathroom supplies. Overall, we were not very comfortable. That being said, the motel does offer bikes to use and has complementary beach chairs and umbrellas. The pool area is small but nice. Also, Renaldo at the front desk was very helpful and communicated with us the day before check in. He is very professional.

So many positive things to say ! Place is very clean . Rooms are spacious even the efficiency ones . Staff was beyond helpful and friendly. I love that they let you use the kayaks for free . Pool has nice clean toys for the kids . The penthouse has the most amazing view. I will definitely be staying here again !

We loved the people who owned and ran the motel. They felt like family and were all so wonderful and sweet!!!!! We will be back!!

Stay here if you want to hear in clear detail the conversation the guy was having in the room next door. along with kids playing in the other room. Nice sandwich of noise...and you're the meat.
