I love the staff. As a 2nd time around with staying in their cabin, my family has been comfortable. I enjoy the scenery, and the locals. Amazing place to be, feel welcomed and feel like family.

Our first experience, the girl at check in was very welcoming and friendly! She gave us tips on local attractions and suggestions on how to make our stay the most comfortable. I unfortunately don’t recall her name, but the young girl with glasses deserves many kudos in so us toner service. The room was literally the cleanest one I’ve seen in many years. It felt brand new. My wife could not stop commenting on the cleanliness and the “amazing shower/water pressure”. The grassy area with family friendly games was also utilized briefly and the kids loved it. The only suggestions I would have as a guest is that upon our return to the hotel after dinner, about 7:15, all of the exterior lights were off and it was pitch black. My kid tripped in the parking lot. She’s pretty clumsy to begin with but being blind didn’t help. The lights turned on in the middle of the night. So the timer may need a good adjustment. The second negative would be the platforms that the beds sit on were a bit creaky and cheap feeling. Otherwise we loved it and would without a doubt return if we are ever in the area again.

The pillows were so uncomfortable and the lights were on outside till around 2.30 am so the bedroom was lit up till then. The room rate was seriously overpriced at $349. They didnt mention the twin bed was a very short bunk bed for a child which it was. Consequently had a horrible mights sleep. Then the hotel charged me twice for one night ! The place was sufficient and a basic cabin like feel to it.

I stayed at the Quail Cabin for one night. This is actually a duplex, not a standalone cabin. I believe this business misrepresented the accommodations. It is advertised as a queen bed along with a twin and a fold out sofa twin. The twin is actually part of a bunkbed that is built into a cubby and the mattress was a single foam pad that is 6’ long. We were told that the upper bunk is no longer approved for people to sleep in. The lower bunk is about 8” from the floor. There are no pictures of this cubby. In July, it was hot and claustrophobic. After an hour, I needed to fold out the sofa bed, which are always shorter than normal twin size beds. I am 6’2, so my feet had to hang over. I did not sleep well that night. This might be fine for younger children but not for two adults looking for separate beds.

Beautiful. Clean and just an amazingly welcoming crowd. Be sure you hit the golf course restaurant for lunch or dinner. And the little cafe next to the post office. The owner was awesome. Bread puding and soda bread amazing. All right there. Loved the whole family atmosphere.
