Holiday Inn Express And Suites Blythe, an IHG Hotel

There was a large group of people on the same floor as our room, they were in multiple rooms on the floor, and people were going back and forth between rooms talking loudly as they went, with kids running and dogs barking. We ignored it during the evening hours, but it continued till after midnight, and started up again by 6:30 the next morning. I tried to call the office and the phone just rang and rang, no answer. After multiple attempts I finally called the office, they said they would send security to check it out, but the problem continued, even after I spoke to the desk a 2nd time.

We went to Blythe for a funeral. I mean, why else go to Blythe. Blythe is a ghost town...but I thought we would make the best of it. After the services and such, we would go back to the hotel to spend time in the pool and with family, rather than heading to a 3 hours drive back home in high heat...Welp! The pool was inaccessible and full of algae. I wish I had taken a pic....many of our other party had to check out and go next door to South Hampton...because they are family who have not seen eachother in so long, they wanted to hang out...but you can't exactly 'HANGOUT' in Blythe WITH NO POOL OR A/C....with kids, you need the pool. So! we all checked out. The employees were kinds, but what establishment in Blythe, knowing there is nothing else to do there, i mean NOTHING, would go without getting their pool maintained? It is NOT the same pool in the pictures.

Clean spacious room for our family

We liked this hotel. It seems new and upt-to-date. We liked the hooks for backpacks which are very convenient. The beds were clean. The breakfast area was well-organized, clean and roomy. There were tables for couples, single persons or.families. Although this was just a one-night stopover to our next destination, we would come back for a longer stay.
