La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Searcy

PLEASE READ THIS WARNING IF YOU'RE BOOKING AT THIS HOTEL. I made this reservation weeks in advance because we were dropping my son off at college on a specific day. We were arriving somewhat later than expected, so we called ahead mid-afternoon and the person at the desk said that's fine, "you're all set, and I'll make a note that you're coming in late tonight." Then, I arrived with my entire family of 6 at almost 11 pm, including a toddler, and we were told that THEY DID NOT HAVE A ROOM FOR US. I said what, we had a reservation, and I have the confirmation right here!?!? They said, SORRY, NO ROOM. I was and am still furious, my entire family had just driven 9 hours, had checked in, and were handled like this. Then I called Hotels.com - they (someone with a heavy accent) called the property and said, "well, I guess there's no room, so you have to figure something else out." Thanks punks. There may be something in the fine print that justifies their actions, but this is inexcusable to me, and IF they have something in their policy that allows this it SHOULDN'T BE IN THE FINE PRINT. To add insult to injury, neither this La Quinta nor Hotels.com offered to comp us ANYTHING for our trouble. We had to drive almost an hour away and check in at a hotel in Little Rock. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL, and shame on you Hotels.com if you're letting them get away with this crap, especially leaving a family left in the cold and not even a comped night. Otherwise, the hotel was "meh" anyway.

One of the worse places we have stayed in all our trips. We rented a room for 3 adults and 3 children. I can share a screen shot showing it sleeps 6. When we got there late in the evening I wait out front in the lobby for about 15 min and finally someone came to the desk. We then got to our room to find out it has one bed and one small couch. I would like to know where the other 3 people were to sleep. Then there were no pillows or blankets other then the main bed. In the bathroom there was one bottle of shampoo and one bar of soap and 3 towels. In the morning breakfast was done very well. We then went to the pool that again had no towels. Overall I would rate the a 2 out of 10. My children slept in the floor with a made up blanket bed. Very bad night without sleep.

The lobby of this hotel is very pleasant as was the desk staff. The room we were assigned was very dark, dismal and worn down. The carpet was abysmal, mold around the shower. Just yuck. Also, we were at the end of the hall next to the pool. Loud running children and adults that were unable to control them late at night and early in the morning was the norm. Also, dogs, so many dogs.

I like this hotel. We've stayed at it several times when visiting students at Harding University. The problem is that the hot tub has been out of commission for months and the pool has not been properly cleaned in a long time, so there is build up on the upper walls of the pool where people have taken to carving their names and other things in the scale on the tiles. The room itself was fine and the breakfast is good. I just wish they would take care of their pool area. Some of us have kids who live for that stuff, and I'd appreciate some hot tub time.

Was here for a family reunion. Dogs next door barked a lot, my pillow was yellow and stained, drape covering air conditioning was dirty AND my brother and I both got sick from something we ate for breakfast

Me and my boyfriend stayed here with my 2 dogs. Staff was very friendly to them, king suite was definitely worth it for us we need space with traveling. Only problem I had was kids running up and down hallways upstairs but I turned both TV's on to keep animals from barking so not really a big deal

Disappointed would be a understatement. We booked this hotel to be close to the hospital for the birth of our baby. The lovby and staff were very nice aside from that i wasn't

This hotel was very clean and accommodating no complaints here. Stayed for two nights the breakfast had plenty of options from donuts pancakes sausage biscuit gravy yogurt etc. the heated indoor pool was the main reason we stayed because of the kids which they also loved and approved would definitely recommend and will be staying again next time here.
