I really enjoyed my stay at Pocos Diablo. I requested a room facing the serenity garden, so it featured a semi-private balcony that overlooked the serenity garden. The space is lovely and quiet. The rooms are nice, you can tell it was an older resort that’s been remodeled but everything was nice, clean, and cozy. I booked a spa package that was divine. My only complaint is that I attempted on 3 occasions to order room service from the onsite restaurant and they never answered the phone at any point after multiple attempts. I did eat there one time during my stay and it was delicious and my serve was extremely friendly and accommodating. I would absolutely return and recommend it to any of my friends or family traveling to Sedona.

It was quiet and had a very family friendly atmosphere, although the bar and restaurant were more sophisticated. Special mention to Tony who was personable, professional and a great bartender!

Properly overall could use some fixing as walls in rooms patio were peeling the paint, and rail were not very safe for kids. Some Ice machine were not working.

Not a kid friendly resort - the restaurant is too fancy and unless you have sophisticated children that can eat lobster risotto its not for them! But I would recommend it for anyone traveling without kids! Beautiful Garden. The 'Red Rock View' rooms are not really worth the extra money as you have to leave your room and stand outside your door facing the car park to see the view. The are itself is lovely.

We were welcomed by a beautiful lobby and smiling front desk ladies. The lady who helped us, upgraded our room so we would have a fire place and jacuzzi (we didn’t use). We stayed in room #133, towards the back of the establishment. Upon entering, we were greeted by a stale, old, vacant house odor. The carpet was dirty with stains throughout the room. The bathroom was clean? Although the photos of the tub do not give the appearance of being clean. I didn’t use it for this reason. If you stay in this room, bring slippers as you may not feel comfortable walking barefoot. The fireplace did not work. Tried calling the front desk but the line was busy so I gave up. The TV stand looked as if someone spilled something on it that damaged the finish which also gives a dirty appearance. The cabinet door to the fridge was intentionally or unintentionally removed but either way looks pretty shabby. There were two empty beer boxes left beneath the bar/fridge area. The extra blanket did not smell fresh, and upon pulling the bed sheets back, I noticed a dead bug just chillin on the edge of the fitted sheet. The popcorn ceilings in this room are very low so keep that in mind if you want a vaulted ceiling which some reviews state they have available as an option. The bed was comfortable for me (spouse), after my husband convinced me there were no bed bugs. However, his hips hurt after waking but he slept like a baby. My clothes still smell like the room. I recommend $99 not $297/night.

While this property was located in a great area of southern Sedona, do not expect a luxury resort. Upon arrival my door handle wouldn’t work and I was instructed to jiggle the handle and pull it upward to make the door work. It was made clear by the front desk attendant that this was a consistent complaint about the rooms. The second room I rented for family never received robes, and two of the four nights we stayed at the property they didn’t even have their trash taken out. The one time I wanted to use the pool it was closed for “maintenance” and was completely green. Like I said the location was superb, and I also think the restaurant and their staff were great, but the rest of the property left a lot to be desired…

The grounds surrounding the property are absolutely stunning if you have a view room. The resort itself is very rundown and dated. We had a room where the screen was torn and only half of the lights worked. My adult kids were moved to two different rooms due to maintenance issues and still had no access to the patio area due to a sliding door being broken and no t.v. for the entire stay. My son got sick from the breakfast at the restaurant the second day of our stay and we did not see housekeeping the whole time we were there!

Beautiful place & the views were amazing!! Only thing to complain about was the toddler height toilet, which maintenance agreed they needed new. Mattress could be replaced, but put feather pillow tops on & helped. The pillows could’ve been of standard size, seemed small(couch pillow size) bring our own next time! Lol Overall, gorgeous place & loved the area! First time to Sedona & will definitely be back

I had a very nice stay. The view from my room was wonderful. The only thing I found odd is the toilet are kid side. They need to put in adult size, people with bad knees need that. But I still enjoyed my time there.
