Wow! What an amazing experience!!! The staff at this hotel were so thoughtful, attentive and friendly! The food at their bar/restaurant was tastier and more affordable than I expected. The room that my family and I stayed in was HUGE (even by American standards) and clean. The food service staff offered to help me take trays of food up to my room and were so sweet.

Our stay at the hotel was very comfortable. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Our daughters stayed in another room but had issues with lights and heating. Breakfast was self service and catered for our families dietary needs.

Pre booked hotel 4 months in advance. Upon arrival we were told the parking policy had changed 2 days ago and that we would be unable to park our car onsite. We were never advised of the parking policy change and there is no mention of it on their website. Staff on site just kept telling us the policy had changed and there was nothing they could do!! We had to scramble around to find somewhere to park for the night which ended up costing us another £40 on airport parking for the night. This caused a lot of unnecessary stress and panic on the eve of our first family holiday. You would think all bookings would have been advised of the change. I will not be recommending this hotel to anyone in the future.

I liked, that when I asked for an extra duvet and pillow, the reception were friendly and accommodating and brought it to our room. They answered my many questions. We will be booking with the hotel again next year. Only issue we had, was, my children would not share the double pull out sofa. My husband and I would not have fit comfortably on the pull out sofa. So one of my sons ended up sleeping on the floor. Having 4 singles in the room with a pull out chair/bed would be fantastic for family rooms. I stay at your hotel as we are able to share a room as a family. Thank you

Paper thin walls- really noisy when people arrived next door in the middle of the night. Sofa bed was in poor repair, so the kids had metal bars in their backs. Carpet threadbare and poorly made beds. Despite following the instructions to turn off the heater, it came back on in the middle of the night (there IS a power switch on the wall underneath after further investigation).

Not a great experience. Staff struggling with the computers at check in time. Charged £15 for a frozen pizza. Room was basic and dated. None of this in alignment with what you’d expect from an IHG hotel. I get that the price is due to access to airport, but I just felt ripped off. When we left, I forgot the kids’ headphones on the bed. Two pairs of bright blue kids headphones. Apparently they “weren’t found” by housekeeping. It’s literally the only place they could be. The headphones didn’t leave that room.

Near the airport- convenient if you’ve got an early flight to catch. Extremely overpriced. Property in disrepair and the pull out couch was terrible. My kids had to sleep on an incline. Thankfully, it was just for one night. If you’re looking for something to do, we took an Uber to Queensferry for dinner and then walked over the bridge. That was lovely! I’d suggest staying somewhere else.

Elevator was not working to the first floor. The bar and restaurant did not take cash so when we went I to the bar in the evening we hope to use the last of our £s but we’re unable so we left. No free shuttle, £4 per person, when we asked for the desk to call us a cab they questioned us. I explain that with 6 ppl at £4 a person a £9 can is cheaper. She balked and did finally called one but was only able to push a button so had no way to let them know we needed a cab for 6 ppl and luggage. Luckily the cab driver was much nicer and helpful. They gave us the wrong directions to get to the rental car return and bad Directions on how to walk back to the hotel after dropping off our car the evening before flying out. There was also a playpen set up in our room taking up space. It wasn’t set up right so it was difficult to take apart. Reception was unable to come up and help us so we partially took it down and shoved it in the corner. We had 12 and 15 yo kids, no infants.
