I had booked the 4 rooms for my husband’s brothers and wives but unfortunately myself and husband had to fly to Holland on Thursday for my brother funeral on Friday so I did ask the family for their reviews on the hotel and that it what I have done

This hotel was a real treat to stay in. My sisters and I were attending a family funeral and could not fault the Victoria Hotel. Every staff member was efficient, friendly and could not do enough to help us. Errin immediately offered to provide a packed lunch when there was a problem with our train travel. We sampled breakfast, high tea and dinner all of which were excellent. We had a very positive experience and have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Wonderfully large family room with huge shower. Really loved our stay (3 adults) the room was super clean and decoration looked fresh and recently decorated. Lovely shower too! Breakfast was included in our price and it was perfect. Staff were great. Couldn’t ask for more.

Cannot fault this hotel or it’s staff. Always friendly. Always clean. I had two young children with me as well and I was never made to feel out of place or a hindrance. Exceptional people who I cannot rate enough!!

Very pleased with our stay here, they accommodated our little family so well for saying it was last minute stay after a family funeral. Breakfast was great too! Even supplying us with a portion of porridge for our 8 month old! Really appreciated them being able to supply a travel cot as well!

Had a fabulous stay at The Victoria Hotel. Booked two family rooms which were more than roomy enough for us. Had a great sleep as beds were very comfortable. Cannot fault the cleanliness. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, felt very relaxed during our stay. The hotel is a beautiful old building with many original features. The only downside was that there is no air conditioning and it could feel quite warm at times, however the windows could be opened in your room which helped. Overall a very positive and pleasant stay.
