The worst family experience in my 50 years. The hotel did not have staff after 9 pm and left customers to their own overnight only for staff to come in the Morning. I arrived late and could not enter the hotel, call the emergency number they left at the door but it was the reception number that no staff was handling because they had gone home. Very deceptive calling themselves a hotel rather than an apartment. Highly unprofessional quack set up in Hotels.com list.

We were upgraded, on arrival, to a family room with a sea view. The room and the view were excellent. Will definitely return

We had an amazing stay at the hotel onay bank holiday weekend. The hotel has the best location with beach across the road, amusement park next to it and lots of eateries and market around. The staff was always smiling and ready to help. The white pepper restaurant in the hotel had amazing food options. So all in all we didn't have to go anywhere and could enjoy the day at beach with the comfort of hotel whenever kids needed a break. The only drawback was that there was no parking and street parking was very expensive. We found Royal Yard car park around 6 mins walk from hotel which was the cheapest at £6 for 10 hours and overnight free.

We (family of four, two teenagers 14 and 17) had a pleasant stay at the Fairhaven hotel. The reception was very friendly and we were accompanied to our room by one of the employees. The clean family room was sufficiently large with two single beds and one double bed. We were a little disappointed not to find a refrigerator in the room, though, since we had some food that we wanted to keep fresh over night. The hotel is right on the promenade and pretty close to of center of the town where you can find restaurants and shops. We used the 6 pound per night deal with the multi level car park near by. A minor issue was that the WIFI did not work for us. We complained about this the next morning and learnt that the problem was known to the hotel.

We had a family room which was clean and the beds were comfortable. There were complimentary biscuits and bottles of water, along with the usual tea and coffee. I could not fault the staff and customer service. Everyone was friendly and welcoming and we would stay here again. My husband had breakfast and said it was good.

The weather was lovely and sunny, hotel is in a great location, but you need the beach view from your room. Clean but dated. It could be fabulous with an upgrade. Weymouth is the perfect family seaside resort. No parkin so can be a pain in high season. We had a family room ,noisy and horrible view of a building site. Not enough sockets in the room
