It was such a lovely place, friendly staff, great location, great food, fantastic family hotel.

fantastic location, 1 minute walk to the beach. Our room had been updated so felt fresh and modern but the hotel interior would benefit from the same. Only disappointment for the family was the food, we ate in the restaurant the first evening, but not after that. However, a fantastic short break and we will be booking again

FANTASTIC 😊 loved everything ❤️ the hotel was a lovely old building, that has been kept up to date, and has even installed a little lift, as well as being really clean & fresh as well. The service was perfect, the staff & owner were run off their feet, on a busy bank holiday yet they still did it with a smile, perfectly friendly, and helpful.Couldn't fault them. The room, was little but not too little, really lovely, perfect size for a couple and to swing a cat as people say. Clean, warm, fresh, room service every day, beautiful new bathroom, massive shower! You could shower the family in one go! Bed was so comfortable, fell asleep straight away and an amazing view of the cove. I only wish I brought my dog, as it was dog friendly everywhere! So many happy little faces and did not smell of dog once! Amazing! So impressed 😍 Really looking forward to hopefully getting there again the future!

We booked a 3 night Easter Break with our little cockapoo. We booked due to location with beach on your doorstep. When we got there we were just stunned by how big the beach was-a quiet beach with a cafe, kids playground and of course the hotel. Dogs were so accepted within hotel , in bar etc. Dog friendly rooms more basic but perfectly adequate with a good shower. Most importantly very clean. Meals in hotel basic comfort food done really well at a very reasonable price. Definitely returning

We've stayed before, however, took the whole family this time. The staff were incredibly friendly, even the housekeepers smiled and said morning when I walked past them, which is really nice. The room was a family room and was incredibly spacious, and was incredibly clean. The TV was good and had Netflix enabled, so we were not bored. However one of the beds had several bloodstains and bits of food on one of the sheets underneath the mattress which drape to the floor, which was instantly removed and thrown into the corridor, which was picked up. We didn't complain as it was under the mattress. However, taking back the two additional sheets ontop of the mattress revealed a urine stain. Which seem to have been cleaned but not thrown away despite it covering almost the whole middle section of the sheet. Disappointing however the other beds were clean. The food in the bar was incredibly tasty and very reasonably priced. Breakfast is also great. The location is great. Could do with more tea & coffee for larger groups to save us from constantly going to reception for more. However, the rest of the room and hotel was immaculate. We will stay again and would recommend to others.
