The Coach House Suffolk

I've stayed here approx 6 or 7 times over the last year, its always a 5 star experience. Its a beautiful place set back from a road (not a busy road). Its always exceptionally clean and tidy. Staff are always so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The full English breakfast is fantastic, always hot. I always try and stay here when I'm up visiting family and hope to stay again in Feb 2024.

The coach house in Suffolk just on the edge of Lowestoft was a delightful place for our stay. They were dog friendly which was a plus as we were travelling with our dog, but it turned out to be one of the best places we’ve ever stayed at! Great property- very quiet in the main house , we had a family suite with a very comfy bed ( choice of hard or soft pillows!) great breakfast & extremely happy and friendly staff that helped to make the stay a pleasure! I had read great reviews on Expedia so imagined it would be good - but it surpassed my expectations. I would definitely return ( which is something I don’t always think!) Great job!

The location of the Coach House was ideal for our stay. Quiet, but close enough to everywhere we needed to be. The staff were incredibly helpful and so friendly. They really were wonderful. Our room was lovely, but on a minus, our bed was very hard, and creaky (the springs have seen better days I think). Our children, had comfortable beds, so we were unlucky on this occasion. We would happily return, but some investment in newer, more comfortable beds in all rooms might be money well spent.

Was up seeing family. Will always try to stay at the coach house if possible. Great place, friendly staff.

Excellent hotel for our needs while in Suffolk visiting family

We had a really lovely 3 night stay at The Coach House. All staff were beyond helpful and polite and the hotel itself was presented very well. We had a problem with the first room we were given, but was dealt with IMMEDIATELY, so no complaints there at all. Our room was very well equipped and comfortable. Housekeeping went in every morning to tidy and replenish. Breakfast was brilliant and lots of options on offer. We also ate in the restaurant with family in the evening and our food was very good. We spoke with the owner who explained that the hotel was currently undergoing renovations, but this did not cause any issues at all and we did not experience any disruptions to our experience. We had our dog with us, being a pet friendly hotel was the main reason for us choosing to stay here. Although they are pet friendly, everywhere was immaculately clean and no traces of pets being in the room before us. It’s also nice that the area we were seated in to eat was separate from other guests who did not have pets so there was no disruption to others. Overall, a really positive experience and we are looking forward to potentially hosting our wedding reception here.

Beautiful place to visit. Only down point was allowing dogs and the dampish smell of the sofa in hour family room. Just needs a Febreze. Food gorgeous service brilliant. Staff all A+ Would return. Loved it.
