Best Western Plus Kenwick Park Hotel

Spa area brilliant. Outdoor pool, great saunas and ice room. Main pool very large but you have to book a timed slot. Food is good quality and variety, very reasonable priced and kids menu also good. Better than expected for the price

Outstanding accommodation for our short break to visit family. Facilities are second to none and the service is everything you’d expect from a best western plus. Disappointing the restaurant evening food didn't meet the same high standards. Overall a fantastic experience. Highly recommended.

We stayed one night. Check in staff friendly so too we’re breakfast staff but not enough of them as it got quite busy. Room was spacious and simply decorated. On the website it looks as though they are doing them up but ours in the annex (dog friendly) had not and had a drawer missing and didn’t smell the freshest. Also was very noisy when people in room above were walking about in middle of night. (Think it must have been a staff quarter). Access to the beautiful pool was a real bonus and it was great to take the kid to before breakfast. Breakfast had plenty of choice but hot options were bulk cooked, so were ok. No EV chargers working so glad not taken other car. Grounds beautiful and a peaceful place to stay. Would stay again if in different room.

Room fixtures and fittings were dated but good size and clean. Swimming pool is a bonus. With the golf and spa facilities the hotel seems to be geared more for adults rather than families. An outdoor play area in the woods would be a nice addition.Overall we had a nice stay. Ideal for visiting family nearby.

The health and leisure facilities at this hotel were excellent, some of the best I've stayed in around the country. We found the rooms to be noisy and not soundproofed, we could hear either side and below, I think this was exaggerated by it being the festive period and kids using the corridors as running tracks.

The house was great and staff. Only let down that the relaxation spa was full of kids and half of the equipment didnt work.

For a nice family relaxing break this spot is perfect, two nights just wasn’t enough. Amazed by the cabin we were given. The directions from reception could have been better as they just said make your way to the back of the hotel failing to say we needed to enter a code for a barrier. Each time we got to the barrier we thought it must have been for staff or private chalet owners. Took us almost 30 minutes and a trip back to reception to clarify. The breakfast was delicious, not so child friendly, more for golfers and seniors. As a whole the resort is more for the elderly and golfers and amenities for the pool etc should not be book only, for this reason we didn’t use any of the facilities. Still a nice break but maybe not so good for families with young, lively children. As an adult I thought is was lovely and can see it’s speak to older couples. Pleasant stay overall but definitely more suited to golfers and over 50’s I would say.

Excellent standard hotel, clean and very comfortable bedrooms with a good choice of room facilities. Excellent staff who made us feel very welcome all round, could not fault the quality of service would definitely recommend this hotel for families with young children or if you want a nice relaxing spa break.

Our family stayed in a lodge and I'm thankful it was only for one night. There is great potential to have a nice stay here - the pool was very nice, the grounds were pretty, and the breakfast was fine but I feel like we were stuck in a lower class lodge because we only stayed one night. The particular lodge we stayed in was badly in need of new carpeting/flooring. The amount of stains and cleanliness of the carpeting was so terrible - felt so dirty walking on it so we kept our shoes on all the time. The lodge was also filthy on the outside and prevented us from sitting outside at the table/chairs. The style of the lodge was a different style than I had chosen when booking, so that was also not very nice.
