Nice and quiet hotel - we had the triple room.
Room on 1st floor, window was facing into the other building, which was also the hotel, and facing "into" the lobby, so no streetview. Had "privacy blinds" that allowed light in but were not see-through from the opposite rooms. Windows do not open, but there is an air conditioner.
Room was small but had what we needed. Also included a small fridge to store water etc.
Comfortable beds - the double bed came with a double cushion. We got that changed to singles when we went to the reception and asked. Our child thought the bunk bed above the double bed was a real treat. It was comfortable and wide as well.
A bit weird with the very thin frosted glass wall around the toilet and bath, and with the sink for washing your hands in the room, not in the bathroom stall. Would not recommend this hotel for new couples or people wanting more privacy, since you can almost see through the wall and it is in no way sound proof. :-)
Breakfast was lovely with a nice selection of hot and cold options.
There's also a cold water dispenser that you can use throughout the day.

This is my second Yotel stay & London City didn’t disappoint. We had the VIP suite as there were two adults & two kids. It was a great spacious room, clean & comfortable

Stayed in Room 401. These three issues are not something that the front desk can fix immediately. Ladder to bunk bed is coming away from the wall on the upper right hand side. Shower is not sealed properly and leaks on the floor on the front left corner. Rooms are not insulated very well at all. It was quite interesting explaining to your child the sounds coming from room 301 or 501 where the woman was getting her knickers shagged off her for 30 minutes on Friday and Saturday night.

Our family of four had two rooms, the Premium Plus size. We had a decent amount of room, and appreciated the design touches that made great use of space.
The bed is a "slide out" that goes from having the head area raised to sliding down. Works out well.
Staff were very friendly, and very helpful. When we arrived, one room was ready, and we requested that the second be close to the first, and the staff made that happen, and came by the first room to give us the key.
We appreciate that the body wash / lotion / shampoo and condidtioner are in large pump bottles, so no small shampoo / conditioner tubes to deal with, no waste.
The rooms were very clean and we really enjoyed our stay.
Things that could be better:
The shower floor is slippery and there are no grab holds inside, so could be a falling problem. The rain shower has water damage. ON the flip side, the quick buttons to turn on the rainshower / handheld shower are very convenient.
The A/C (which worked very well) has a very bright green light that is annoying at night, and in both rooms we found ways to cover it so that it would not disturb us at night.
There is no way to heat water in the room (no kettle / microwave), for tea / coffee in the morning, so we had to go down to the lobby to get hot water.
Overall, very happy with our stay, the room size we picked was great, and plan on staying at this and other Yotels in the future.

I didn't know it was VIP Accessed until I was asked the question in this survey. Staff are friendly and helpful. VERY CLEAN amenities and properties. It was a bit tight for family of 3 considering we only have backpacks with us, but it worked nevertheless. We used the space under the bed as storage. LOCATION is walking distance to 2 tube lines.

No major issues with the stay but in my opinion it is overpriced - caveated with the fact it was the weekend of the London Marathon.
Pros; clean, queen size bed, good location very close to the tube station, the room was quiet, very easy to check in and out (you can either use the reception staff or an automated self check in system).
Cons; a very small room - the bed was queen size and could be folded up and down to give more space but there still isn’t enough space for two people to get ready simultaneously, little to no privacy in the toilet or shower owing to the size of the room and frosted glass between the bed and toilet space - wouldn’t recommend for travelling with family or a new partner!, shower space was so tight it was hardly possible to apply shower gel/shampoo as it would be washed off before application, the lighting was very poor - there is one window but it’s in the “bathroom” and faces a wall so very little natural light combined with poor ceiling/bed lighting, no iron unless you request from reception.
I didn’t hate it and was fine for what we needed it for but wouldn’t stay there again.

This modern hotel was clean and had friendly staff. The proximity to restaurants and the Underground train was nice. Only issue was the size of the rooms. It was so cramped that you had to power the bed up to be able to walk by the foot if you had the table under the tv down. Also they could use a stronger frosting on the toilet/shower glass. It was awkward for the family as you could see the other person on the toilet or within a foot of the glass while they were showering.

Great location and safe to walk around. 5 minutes walk from train station and bus to all attractions about 30 minutes walk to Oxford circle. Traveled with 2 kids and friendly staff.
