Polurrian on the Lizard

On arrival we erre early so made to wait until 3 pm check in, I had mentioned on booking it was a special occasion my birthday and our Ruby Wedding Anniversary, nothing was mentioned to us no congratulations, nothing even though we pointed it out, I noticed the credit card they had on computer was one I didnt want to use so asked to change it to another the details were taken but payment was still taken from the one I didnt want them to use. Room was an inland view it was a very comfortable bed lovely fresh crisp linen bathroom was lovely, elemis products lovely, the housekeeping staff did an excellent job. Breakfast was ok, what we asked for we didnt get even though it was written down by waiter english Breakfast not the best I have had, orange juice put on table with fingers around touching where we would drink from at mouth of glass unhygienic,we had a meal at teatime I asked to change the bread from brioche to sour dough I was told thats fine when the meal arrived I got brioche, the pool on leisure was nice although the white pladtic grills around were broken and dangerous for a child or elderly person, I noticed a waitress carrying a tray of meals on her shoulder and her dark hair was touvhing the food. Overhaul enjoyed the stay but a few things need tweeking.
