Regrettably, we found our stay to be a disappointment having being told how nice the hotel etc is by a family member that had stayed there previously. Our room was tired, old fashioned, basic and the sun deck shabby with decking loose and unsafe. The restaurant staff are inexperienced and forgetful. The pool area is nice but we felt all investment had gone into the Spa facilities and not the Hotel.

Pretentious resort that seems to be ran by a group of nice college kids who know nothing about custom service. I was charged twice at check out when I'd already prepaid my room. Had to show the front desk that I had paid. I'm still seeing two additional charges pending on my credit card. I want to call this place a hotel but can't bring myself to it. They are lacking in every department. The food was poor, burnt pizza, over prepared and expensive. The only good thing I have to say is the room was clean. The parking situation is crazy, the view is blocked by a condo building in front of the resort and they seem to have crazy policies so they can charge you extra for items that are free elsewhere. Now I'm a road warrior who is lifetime at Hilton and Marriott so I've pretty much spent 20 years of my life sleeping in a hotel (I know sad!) My recommendation would be to stay elsewhere unless you don't mind being overcharge for bad service and accommodation. If you do this is the perfect place for you!

This is my 7th stay at this hotel. The rooms are always very nice and clean with good facilities and decor. Service is good. Restaurant expensive (£38 for 2 courses) if you haven’t booked it in with a package or there is the new garden cafe but I do r know their prices. Breakfast superb. Lounge areas very nice. Hotel pool and sauna very busy at children swim times (9-12 and 3-6) and evenings when gym members use the facilities. Hydro extra cost but very good.

Was amazing and very relaxing for our stay for the two nights and three days which we were there. But maybe the cleaning of the room can do better. As our towels was not changed and the bedsheets were still the same. Plus there were some hairs in the bathroom floor. I would still recommend staying in st.michaels resort to my family and friends because the staff there are very friendly amd helpful. Also we loved our luxury large king room, was just so big and comfy.
