The staff were so lovely, they directed us to the toilet as soon as we got there as we had a child who needed desperately. They also helped us in the evening when we had a query. The room was okay. The bathroom was a bit run down and we could hear other people throughout the evening in their rooms. We didn’t try the food but the restaurant looked nice.

We had 2 nights booked. Nice and quiet place. We felt safe. No problems at all. We only had two mugs for 3 adults and 1 child but it wasn't like a real problem. Also I'm sure that if we really wanted extra mugs they would probably provide more. So all in all, great experience. Totally recommend.

It was a lovely place to stay with a dog for a couple of days visiting family. Very clean, very comfortable and helpful that we could eat there.

Flawless. Less than £50 for a family of four and would gladly have paid double We stayed solely to break up a drive to Scotland and will be doing so each and every time in future, no question

It was a nice hotel to stay at if you are passing by. The rooms were cozy and the beds were very comfortable. The only problem which we had was when we came in to the hotel room the beds had small hair all over the beds and even inside the sheets. It could be that the person who made the beds was probably losing some hair. However, it just seemed weird and I asked the lady at reception who was obviously surprised but very helpful. We were going to go for dinner so I asked if she could just re-make the beds for us and she did. Apart from that we had a pleasant stay. The kids enjoyed a good nights rest, which we all needed.

The family room was fine for our use, though the sink didn't drain very well. The staff friendly and helpful, though we didn't raise the sink with them. We booked ahead of a southbound journey on the M6, and arranged a visit to local area prior to checking in. Not a good idea, as car access to the hotel is restricted to northbound travel on the M6, and a driveway with toll bar off the nearby road in Charnock Richard is for use by staff only (by order of the Highways Agency). Staff shortage meant that there were no dining facilities that night, not that it was a problem for us.

Beautiful little hotel at M6. Room was small for a family for 4 ( two adults two kids aged 6 and 1). But for the price you can’t complain. Only stayed a night. Had a good night’s sleep.

I’m disabled, when we arrived we were given a ground floor room, then they changed this because of dogs ( they knew about) and gave us a 1st floor room( being disabled, stairs were exceptionally hard) we noticed later that people with dogs were on ground floor where we originally were!!! The room we booked was a family room 1 dbl bed and 1 sofa bed, they wanted to give me a room with just 1 dbl bed ( I was with my 25 year old son) which I refused then gave us a family room. Sofa bed looked like it was on a hill and son said it felt like metal sticking in his back. We had breakfast and this couldn’t be faulted great choice of food and pleanty of it
