Gulevi Safranbolu Hotel

Beautiful property! Perfectly preserved historical house with modern amenities (renovated bathrooms, lovely garden for lounging, etc.). The staff were also wonderful and so kind to our toddler and dog. It does get quite hot in Safranbolu in summer and there was no AC in our room, which wasn’t an issue for us but could be a problem for some. I also would not recommend this hotel (or Safranbolu generally) for anyone with mobility issues. But we had a great stay and I would happily return.

Our family of 4 spent two nights here, and I would highly recommend it to other families. We had a spacious two room suite, with large bathroom, including tub and double sinks. We loved access to the beautiful garden, with sofas in the shade, to relax, read, play cards. The location couldn't be better for exploring the old town. Service was impeccable, from check in, to helping with luggage, serving drinks and anything else we could need. The generous Turkish breakfast was delicious, with strong coffee, homemade preserves, local cheese and much more. The perfect getaway from Ankara, we can't wait to return, tesekkurler!

We travelled to Safranbolu as a family including kids and older parents. We were really happy with all the services received at Gulevi Hotel. The Hotel is at a great location with really nice rooms. The owner is an architect with great taste. He and his wife decorated all the rooms (in the three separate houses in the hotel) with the works of different world-renowned architects across the globe. The rooms were really comfortable with the authentic nature of Safranbolu houses. I recommend to all who would like to have a nice stay.

the garden of the hotel was unique, and it is the best for the families have little childs.
