Hyatt Regency Koh Samui

The room desin and capcilty is so nice for our stay. (2 adult and 1 child) and very satisfied to bath facility. I would like stay again if I could have chance to visit Koh Samui.

Stayed for our family wedding. Can’t fault the hotel.

We loved our welcome drinks and front desk staffs. We loved the atmosphere by the beach, pools, the pool staff was very friendly and SeaSun restaurant staffs were friendly and made us delicious cocktails. We booked 4 rooms to surprise my family for the Thai New Year all the way from New York City. The issues were 2 rooms out of 4 rooms had some facilities problems. First room issue was the outlet in the bathroom and AC unit wasn’t working. We called front desk and they be able to sent someone from maintenance to fix it luckily. The second room issue was the front door couldn’t locked and unsafe, AC unit was working very poorly. We called and they be able to responded on 1 out of 2 and fix the AC unit but never responded to fix the front door that couldn’t lock for the rest of the stay. It was 4 days 3 nights stayed. Buffet staffs were so rude to my auntie. One of the staffs were asked if we need any drinks, juice, coffee or anything to start the breakfast buffet. The staff responded was “juice you can help yourself at the bar we do not offer juice service to the table” meanwhile at Sri Panwa they be able to assist us with the very basic simple inquiries without hesitation or any kind of attitude. We definitely not looking forward to come back with my whole family of 14 people and the amount of the money that we spent it should be minimal issues regarding all the issues were occurred during our stays to celebrate our Thai New Year nor stay for the future.

Excellent hotel facilities and service, BUT And it's a big BUT Their prices for all the services on top of the room price (which is high but reasonable for that type of hotel) are very expensive and there's no legitimate reason behind it. You can find top level hotels with reasonable prices for food and extras. You need to pay, and a lot, for anything else From paint canvas in the kids club to a simple burger in the pool restaurant. Same burger triple the price.

Nice pepole Hotel prices are too high, even for luxury hotel. Pools are big with nice view, kids zone are not good enough

Excellent location. Stunning views. F&B service was great. Only small issue I had was kids in the adults only area but I guess that’s difficult to police. Also not very suitable for those with accessibility issues although the buggy services are excellent

Great family holiday

We liked the cleanliness of the hotel property, with no insects within the hotel compound. My wife and daughter liked the spacious toilet. We would prefer if there could be more kids' channel choices on TV (eg Nickelodeon, Disney), hotel only had one baby channel and one kid channel showing Peppa). Fortunately, the smart TV helped to offset the issue as we could count on Youtube Kids. It would be good if the hotel had a complimentary shuttle service to Central Festival Samui for guests, the area surrounding the hotel seems lacking in shopping and groceries. Overall, staff were friendly and helpful, especially during breakfast and at reception check-in/check-out. Could not recall all the names of staff, Yangna Cuisine staff helped a lot, and the big guy driving the buggy on our first day to our room was very entertaining. Receptionist Eve was always smiling, she brightened up our trip, and we wished we could meet again. Thank you Hyatt Regency Koh Samui.

New and clean hotel. I’m very satisfied with hotel room. There is a small pool with slider for child, and my 7-yo daughter enjoyed it very much. There was another pool for adult, but the water of the pool was dirty, so I didn’t go into it. All hotel staffs are very friendly and kindhearted. Hotel is very close to the airport, but please note that there is no shops around the hotel.
