Chaweng Garden Beach Resort

The hotel has a good location close to everything, the beach is perfect for both children and adults. The staff is friendly. It was the second time we booked this hotel, we were very satisfied with the first stay. After cannabis has become legal in Thailand, a lot of cannabis is smoked by the hotel's other guests - especially by the hotel's guests who live in the hotel's budget hotel J4, who have access to the entire resort's facilities. Since the sunbeds are very close together, smoke from cigarettes and canabis is very annoying, and since the hotel does not have a smoking policy (we asked at the reception), we will find another place next time we are in Chaweng. When traveling with children, I will definitely find another hotel with a smoking policy - we saw several hotels, restaurants and bars where they did not allow smoking of euphoric drugs, so of course it is also possible at this hotel if they wanted this.

Very nice family run resort. Great value for money. Not super luxury - but comfortable and great service. Right on the best part of the Beach. Get a pool view room as they are furthest away for Ark Bar that is very noisy until late. A lot of returning guests. Good restaurant and friendly and accommodating staff.

We had a great time with the family. Would visit again.

We stay here ,when ever we come to Koh Samui ,and have done for many years.We are in our 60s..Have loved it here for many years.Close to every thing, set back from the street if you are worried about the noise.Good for families also.The staff are fantastic ,will help to the best of their ability.Try!!!! and you will return.

Was the perfect place for a family vacation

Hotel is on busy street,so there is lot of options for food, massages, party. Cleaning of the rooms could have been bit better, somekind of broom would be good addition to have on the terraces to swipe of the sand, as basically whole hotel is on the sand. Also planes are flying right over the hotel, so noise is quite high from the planes. Biggest thing that I hated about the hotel is that they allow guests to smoke at the pool and even provide ash tray, smoke comes also to the restaurant tables when having breakfast and also as there is always kids at the pool and idiots who only care for themself and smoke there, staff should not allow people to smoke outside the smoking area. You also need to pay 1000 baht for key deposit. breakfast was actually quite good. But because of the smoking issue, i would never stay here again or could recommend this hotel to anyone, sorry.

Right at the start of the heart of the action. But quiet and peaceful. Not the highest of luxury levels but well maintained property. It seems they have a high revisit rate, and they stay for weeks at a time! On the beach! Good spot for a snorkel Great food and they really take care of you ...polite, helpful, attentive staff. Would definitely recommend for a family.
