Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Hua Hin

Eveything was excellent. The hotel and our room looked awesome. It was a perfect vacation for our family. We will definitely go back there again.

Centara is a cozy hotel with a colonial style. The hotel is old but still beautiful. The service is excellent and makes up for it. We had some drainage issues that they resolved quickly. They are quick to address problems and incredibly child-friendly. Our daughter loves the kids’ club here. Breakfast is great and the service is excellent. We only encountered one staff member who swung the door in our face at breakfast and forgot to show us to a table, but considering all the other positive experiences, we hope this was a one-time incident on their part. We initially booked 3 nights and extended for an additional 2. Highly recommended. An extra bonus is the piano in the reception in the mornings and the small snacks in the room everyday.

This is a unique beachfront hotel. It first opened a hundred years ago and still retains that old world charm with the extended property in keeping with the original building, a two storey building set amongst acres of flora and fauna with magnificent topiary. The spacious open lobby has a baby grand piano, during our visit a talented guest played this each morning after breakfast. The buffet breakfasts offered a wide range of international cuisine, plenty of fresh fruit and an egg station manned by a cheery chef.The numerous bars around the premises have staggered ‘Happy hours’ and several evening events are staged outdoors. The manager, Jan, is welcoming and his team of staff are courteous and efficient. We thoroughly recommend this hotel and hope to return

We just love the ambiance of the entire hotel. The grounds are amazing and so unique in their presentation. The service team is amazing and will get you whatever you need. We can't wait to bring the rest of the family.

The Centara is located perfectly in central Hua Hin, along a straight road from the most beautiful Hua Hin railway station. This was the first hotel in Hua Hin, formally the railway hotel steeped in history. Arriving by rail at least once, you would historically be following the route of the Thai Royal family. This hotel is 5 star luxury. The staff here are just the best, friendly and helpful everywhere. Our room in the main building 3rd floor has a sea view over lush landscaped gardens. A fridge present in the room and ample storage for a long stay. 24H room service after any late night out. Very comfy bed. Balcony with lounger chairs. And within walking distance of the many bars, music, restaurants and massage shops. 7-11 a few minutes walk away. An upgrade to club gives you an exclusive lounge offering different options throughout each day including cocktails and snacks in the evening. Also 2 items of laundry each day. If you have lots of laundry though, it would be worth taking to a local laundry located beside the hotel. Breakfast is amazing, lots of options, but be prepared for a busy environment on some days. There is 3 pools, the main one being next to the Coast restaurant. Very peaceful, comfy sun beds and towels provided. Pool and bar staff very helpful and attentive. A special mention to Kai, poolside and water aerobics instructor. A great pool aerobics class for my wife. This is a relaxing hotel with limited activities though at low season. A lovely hotel.

We went for 1 night and ended up being there for 3. Amazing staff, picturesque property and kids loved every minute of it.

Can't say enough about the Centura Grande. Large rambling Victorian style hotel with acres of gardens featuring decades old topiaries. We've been returning several times over the years and it never loses its charm. It is family friendly with a playground and activities for the kids. You can swim in three pools, lounge in the sun poolside or on the extensive lawns or hit the beach of the Gulf of Thailand. Staff members are friendly, smiling and competent.
