Amazing place with fantastic staff! Great kids area with perfect people

Everything was perfect. The far distance from the hotel to the Kamala beach and Patong wasn’t a problem at all, otherwise, we enjoyed and relaxed the quietness of it. The kids enjoyed golf car rides from and to the room. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

Great hotel in quiet location. We started in the Family Room (w/ bunk beds) and its was a great room for our family of 4 (kids 9 & 12) Fantastic staff. Good breakfast options and specialist restaurants had good menus. A-la-carte food in the All Day Dining restaurant was not good.

Since the room is on a slope, it is difficult to go up and down on foot, but a cart will pick you up. Every hotel stuff is very friendly. The large infinity swimming pool is great. There is also a good program for children and it seemed to enjoy.

Excellent hotel with great service and facilities. Had a 2 bed room with the 2nd room designed for kids and it was painted with underwater scenes which they loved. Kids club was fantastic and both kids spent hours each day doing activities or just hanging out. Pool area was clean, kids would have liked a slide into the pool. Breakfast buffet was very good. Gym while clean with modern equipment was fairly small with limited weights, only good for cardio.

I booked the family room and it was rather small and only had a bathroom. There wasn't a door to separate the master bedroom from the common bedroom. The bathroom didn't come with a lock. Hence, my helper felt very insured when using the toilet. The toilet was so tiny. I am 5 feet tall and my legs were almost touching the wall when I use the toilet. It felt like a toilet in Hong Kong and not Phuket. I complained and the hotel was kind enough to change it to 2- King bed rooms. That's why I gave it a 2 stars. Else, it will be a one star. The housekeeping team was very forgetful. They either forgot to top up the tissue, towel or water. I had to call for top up everyday. The room also had a musty smell. Despite telling the hotel, the musty smell didn't go away. The room was old. Maintenance hadn't been done properly. While I was using the shower head, there was water trickling from the rain shower. It was a very unpleasant feeling. Breakfast was good. But top up was slow. However, the breakfast time was rather late at 7 am. It is inconvenient for guests going for day tours or rushing to the airport. Front-desk was good. May was very friendly. However, it seems like the front desk was very short handed. I was attracted to the kids club when I booked the hotel. However, I felt very disappointed when I was there. The kids club was very small and had 2 TVs in the kids club. Most of the children ended up watching TV. It should be called KIDS TV CLUB.

This is a perfect resort for families visiting Phuket. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the dining options are excellent, and the Camp Hyatt activities for kids are a perfect way to give parents some alone time.

If you are traveling with others be aware even the 2 bedroom units only have one bathroom. The resort is set on a steep hillside so either wait for golf cart ride or hike up steep hills to your room. The infinity pool is very nice and the rooms for a couple are great but two couples or a family with teenagers may not like the 2 bedroom units. The restaurants are not 5 star - average at best. The resort is also a car ride from anything else in the area. Rent a car.

Hotel is a gem. The pool is exceptionally large and therefore never felt crowded. Plenty of private areas around the pool. Had a family room which was beautiful. Two bedrooms, walk in wardrobe, huge bathroom, balcony and plunge pool. Family rooms set lower in the hillside. Other rooms were much higher up the hillside and needed a buggy to ferry to and from unless you're up for a walk. Used gym most days as air conditioned and no one else was using. Plenty of equipment to choose from. Food was good but lacked variety. Lunch, dinner and room service all had the same menu for all 8 days. Encouraged us to eat out, which was much cheaper and really good quality. The beach is a snorkeling beach not a sandy swimming beach but there is lots to see whilst snorkeling on the corals. Kamala beach is 5 min away by taxi. The real test of a hotel is what they so when things go wrong. Happy to say that when we had to wait 45 minutes to get our drinks after ordering food that never came, the duty manager Jay stepped in and sorted. Excellent customer service. Finally all the staff were exceptionally friendly and genuinely wanted to help you. Overall, loved it and recommend this place.

We had a wonderful stay at Hyatt Phuket. 1) The resort: beautiful main area around the big pool, ocean view, kids' playground & kids' club, leisure area, restaurants, everything is in the same place which is convenient. 2) The room: we had a 2 bedroom with ocean bunk beds. The room offers a lot of space, kids loved their big bedroom. Beddings were very comfortable. The view is on the garden with the ocean being far away. 3) Activities: not all the activities listed on their website are available, do check. We tried snorkelling once but the visibility was too poor. Kids loved the kids' club & playground. The fitness is well equipped. The massage at the spa were great! The beach is small, not suitable for small kids swimming due to the coral rocks (better to go to some other beaches near by). But you can walk on a trail into the sea which is nice. 4) Location: nothing by walking distance, need to take a taxi. 5) Restaurant: very nice breakfast with beautiful views as the restaurant is a bit higher up the stairs. Good lunch/dinner/cocktails too with happy hour. 6) Service: although we had some issues during the stay (Ac not working, slow service at restaurant etc), the staff was always very kind, trying to arrange and solve issues. That made our stay overall a really nice one. We all enjoyed a fantastic holiday and I'd recommend this hotel.
