SO Sofitel Hua Hin

The place to be if you travel With childrens, a lot of activities for them. Good food, beautiful resort but the best point is the personell. Really friendly, smiling and careful, from reception to swimming pool, to kids club till restaurant. Feel like at home , thanks

Amazing resort for families with kids

As a 5-star hotel, So Sofitel Hua Hin is much below our expectation. 1. In the beginning, we were told that the family room is on the 3rd floor. We agreed the upgrade for this reason. However, we ended up being in the 1st floor near the entrance. 2. Seeing the attached picture, the baby cod was broken when my son was sleeping! I still cannot believe this was happening in a 5-star hotel. My son was not even jumping but just lying down on it. We used to stay in Oakwood where the baby cod was very nice and cozy. We had expected the same level in So Sofitel but we were wrong. 3. The room were were staying was 101. The telephone was not functioning, some of the lights were not working. Once the light was replaced, it cannot even be switched off when we wanted to sleep. We even have to call the room service only to switch off the light for us. 4. For breakfast and dinner, the seats were completely not enough. The level of service was not aligned with the price we were charged. 5. The TV was not even smartTV. The Chromecast was not functioning properly. Even the technician cannot make it work. Overall speaking, this was a very disappointing experinece. Be aware for all family with kids.

Love the comfort of the high ceiling room. Pool was very relaxing. And the kids pool with the inflatable obstacle course was even fun for adults. Loved the food by the pool. Beware, lots of people of the weekend so have to avoid peak hours in public areas.

The hotel was not clean up to So sofitel standards. The pool area was very nice for the kids and adults. The room again wasn't meeting the sofitel standard for cleanliness. The hotel was understaffed. The FNB was quite good though. The room where we were staying was having construction right opposite and we had to call thrice before action was taken. Overall it's worth going because of the kids but otherwise it didn't suit our liking.

We had a great time there. The staff was friendly and eager to please. Love the rain shower! Our whole family enjoyed our stay very much.

If you want to spend time in hotel stay then this will be the hotel that will make you feel welcome right from the entrance. The hotel has many fun games for the kids to self indulge. However, the only con is the hotel is a distance from the town like night markets or mall situated. You will need a vehicle to travel out. I have 2 separate booking in this hotel, 1 with kids room located at 1 storey and the other King room with view. This hotel has no lift hence might not recommend to those with stairs issue or request for lower floors.

The resort was great. The bike path, mini putt, and obstacle course were a family favourite during our stay. Unfortunately, the pool and restaurant closed midway through our stay due to new covid restrictions. As such, we could not use the pool and could only have order in food. Having said that, breakfast buffet was fantastic, the facilities were quite nice. Room was very comfortable and the air conditioning was top notch. We would return once Covid restrictions are lifted.

Always fun for adults and kids and beautiful new rooms. Overall just relaxing and always a nice place to come back to.
