Great view, just a bit out of town, family who run it are so friendly and happy. They can drop you off wherever and whenever you want

The guesthouse is a little out of the way, but the rooms are nice and clean, and the family who run it were so lovely, it was worth going just to meet them. The phad Thai at one of the local restaurants was one of the best of our trip

The hotel is beautiful with stunning views of the Mekong river and valley. It's silent and perfect for relaxation. Mind you it's not in town, but really there's nothing to do in town, so you can relax at the hotel before crossing into Laos and go to town only for dinner. The owner is a lovely man who took good care of me, and his family runs the hotel with grace. Recommend!
