Casa Vimaya Riverside

Casa Vimaya exceeded our expectations in almost every way. Someone thought through the design which is both modern and classic and has a warmth lacking in many more contemporary designs. Our teenagers had their own room which undoubtedly improved our experience- but our whole family loved relaxing late afternoons by the pool after the chaos and heat of a day sightseeing. A short walk from the Pra Arthet pier gives you quick access (and fun) transport and it’s hard to stand more than 30 seconds in front without finding a taxi. The beds were super comfortable and the room quiet. I wouldn’t have believed Khao San was a stone’s toss away. A little balcony to watch the fish flipping in the canal and street life beyond provided low key entertainment for those moments before heading into the crazy Bangkok night. Friendly and helpful staff. A winner!
