Banyan Tree Bangkok

We stayed for 4 nights with my family (teenage kids) in the 2 bedroom suite. It was great, plenty of room for everyone to have their space. Breakfast buffet was excellent with lots of choices. All the staff in this hotel are so lovely and helpful. The vertigo bar on the rooftop is amazing. Can’t recommend enough.

Stayed in a family suite. Very spacious, comfortable, clean and quiet. Our shower can also operate as a steam room which was a pleasant surprise. The lounge access provided breakfast, afternoon tea and evening snacks. We had a 1am flight and Banyan Tree allowed us to use the facilities after checkout which is a big plus, helping the whole family relax before our long return journey. Thank you Banyan Tree for your hospitality :-)

I stayed 1 night at Banyan Tree and I had a wonderful time! Recently renovated room was very specious, meticulously clean with a great city view. I slept like a baby in the very comfortable bed. Taking a shot walk to Lumpini park, like Central Park in New York was nice. I’ll be back with my family!

The hotel is not near to any 7-11 not massage place. It’s located at the office area it’s totally not family friendly. The shuttle to the train station has to be booked an hour before. The lobby has flight of steps which is inconvenient with strollers. The room is quite old. There is no baby pool and the kids room is very run down

We went on a family holiday after a long time. My wife had earlier stayed in Banyan tree in Macau which she said was amazing. So we expected the same and booked. The service here was horrible. Room cleaning was never on time, reminder driven and not great. They boast of this amazing roof top bar. The view is amazing. I went there alone for a drink one night. At every stage I was treated suspiciously. The security guard kept staring at me as if I would run away without paying. For 1 beer my details were verified before I was allowed sign for it and to leave. On top of it they took 40000 THB as deposit on check in and on checking out they informed me that this will be returned by the bank in 1-2 weeks. No info on this at the time of checking in. Then they sent me a mail saying I will need to follow up with the bank to get my own money back. In my 30 years of travel I have never ever experienced this. Goodbye Banyan Tree!!
