Miramar Garden Taipei

Wished they allowed teens to use the fitness center. Our family usually exercises together so we would have used the gym more if that were the case.

We stayed three nights and were welcomed by very friendly staff. The room (8F) was big and clean. We could however hear the cars and more annoyingly our neighbours. The latter had a crying baby, so we did not get a full night rest for two nights. Expected a bit more quietness in a 4 star hotel, but there were kids running around in the hallway too.. We looked forward to the breakfast buffet, because we both eat vegan and picking our own dishes is easier. The labeling could have been better "sesame filled bun" is not the same as "custard filled sesame bun".. A lot of tofu dishes did contain meat/fish or it was not clear if vegetarian or vegan. The first day they also ran out of soy milk and replaced it with regular milk without changing the label (who does this?). There was no more soy milk for the remainder of our stay, I am very disappointed because this is Taiwan and it's a staple drink. Conclusion: our stay was good, but we expected much more.

Clean efficient and friendly hotel located in a quiet area - albeit located on a busy main road. Clean generous room with great bathroom. I was visiting family and so didn’t eat in or have time to use the facilities, but the pool looked inviting and the gym well equipped. Would definitely use again.

What a wonderfully upscale hotel. Loved the Japanese style. Sauna. Roomier than most of my hotel rooms in Taipei. Was there with a family of four. It’s a bit of a walk from the MRT, but only a few blocks from the bus stations. If you’re taking a cab, none of this will be an issue. Didn’t stop us from booking it. Beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are impeccable. Service was above what I expected. Breakfast was available, but I did not use it. Loved the outdoor pool.

This is a nice hotel while it's clean and room is spacious, nice staff and breakfast. A king bed is surely big enough for 2 adults and 1 kid. Thus, this hotel not close to the MRT while there are not many shops and restaurants around but not far away from the major sight seeing places around Taipei downtown and they can be reached within 20 mins by taxi. Wifi also not very speedy. Definitely I will choose this hotel again for next family trip to Taipei!
