Roaders Hotel Zhonghua

Such a great hotel! We loved how close it was to everything. Staff was great. Room was roomier than I expected. Lounge area was a plus. Our kids loved going down there and hanging out. Highly recommend!

the staff were nice and friendly! they allowed us to leave our luggage with them before check in/ after check out and even agreed to help my husband dispose of his spoilt luggage for free. i especially appreciate how there was a wide variety of food/drinks available at b1 for free daily, along with a free photo booth and free arcade games. in the morning, the staff will prepare sandwiches and coffee while at night, popcorn, steamed buns and hotdog buns will be available. throughout the day, there is also instant noodles, snacks, instant drinks, packet fruit juices, canned coke and sprite available for free. beer is also available but you'll need to pay for it the hotel is also conveniently located a short walk from xi men mrt station and is walkable to xi men ding. it is also walkable to taipei main station, making it easy for guests to get around the city. there are also multiple convenience stores near the hotel, with family mart located just beside the hotel. however, room service is only available upon request (need to request 1 day in advance) but they will only help to change your towels. housekeeping will not clean the room/top up any items during your stay which was abit of a bummer because we stayed at the hotel for 6 nights and we had already finished our free bottled water, toothpaste and bath salts during our stay. overall, my husband and i had a really pleasant stay at the hotel and we would definitely go back if we visit taipei again!

I don’t find it a family friendly hotel even though there’s a children playroom (more for infant) the rooms are small and cramp. The lights in the room are either too bright or you have to off it entirely. Since when room cleaning become a request? It should be done daily unless we don’t want it. I won’t recommend family with children, for couples is ok. Location is good and surrounded by convenience stores.

I’m so happy to have chosen to stay at Roaders. The kids loved the lobby filled with games and snacks. Then in terms of location, you cannot find a better spot. It’s just next to MRT stations and a few blocks away to Taipei main station. Ximending is across the street. What more can you ask!

Location is convenient…just located at xmd There is family mart and 7-11 just downstairs. The most memorable experience for us is the basement level where it is open for 24 hours…where you can play games with your children and they provide drinks and food for guests. Staff is very friendly and warm coming. Easy to get taxi around the precinct too. The only thing is the room is small for a family of 3. I would suggest that if a family of 3….either book 2 rooms or book the one with a bigger room
