ILLUME TAIPEI

Nice size rooms with double king beds and space for a dining table. Nice to have a pool for the kids as well. Nice shopping in the surrounding area. Even the 7-11 connected to the hotel is convenient for quick breakfast items each morning for the family.

Our family really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The room was spacious and clean. All the staff were extremely helpful. We liked how a 7 Eleven was connected to the hotel so obtaining snacks was easy and the location was within 15 minutes drive from all the locations we were interested in. We will definitely use this hotel during our next visit to Taipei.

My kids love this hotel! There’s a 7-11 on the ground floor, where they can buy food and breakfast everyday. Another reason why we like this place is because they have self serve washing machines and dryers!!! Very convenient for families with children.

The staff were friendly. Having convenience store became handy for foods and drinks. Traveling with a child, having a race car playground within the hotel was a brilliant idea. However, I wish there was at least one kid channel available on TV. But overall it was a very nice hotel.

Spacious room, especially with a young child, and convenient locations

We took Family Quadruple Room with Balcony that is nice for 2 adults & 2 childrens. Room & toilet are clean. Balcony can view part of Taipei 101 building.

Booked a family room with 2 king beds for 2 adults and 2 kids. Fantastic value for its size.

A 9 out of 10 for my family (3 kids - 11,8 and 4yo) Pros: 1. Very clean, spacious and QUEIT quadruple room with plenty of room for luggages, dining (at a table too) plus moving around 2. King-sized Beds are new and firm (pillows a tad soft for me, but not a deal breaker) 3. Well-lit room at night 4. Aircond works as it should, not erratic like at some hotels 5. Very good window and curtain design that totally blocks out sunlight for sleeping 6. Laundry room at floor 5 7. 7-11 right in the building 8. Easy access to Ikea and Breeze mall. Family mart, bakeries and restaurants including local breakfast shops right outside all within 5mins walk. 9. Friendly and attentive staff especially those at the concierge who will ask about your activities/ dining options. Remember to try out JingDing XiaoGuan if you want Din Tai Fung food (think Xiao Long Bao, prawn fried rice etc) at a reasonable price with no queue Cons: 1. Not the best selection and service at breakfast buffet but this is really nitpicking as there are plenty of options around, including the ability to just order from UberEats All in all, we had a fantastic family vacation in Taipei and a large part thanks to the comfortable room in Illume where we could rest and sleep super well (we like firm beds), and sometimes just spending the night, ordering ubereats + watching tv. We will surely return the next time we come to Taipei, thanks to the whole team at Illume, including the super friendly housekeepers!
