Hotel Double One Beitou

Not suitable for family trip. For couple, better.

Our stay was from 4/6-4/8/2016. It was our 2nd time here in 2 years (once a year). Another great experience with Hotel Double One Beitou. I;m hard to impress, but they've impressed me once again. I'm impressed with their employees' genuine kindness to help and make sure all guests are like family. I think the lady's name is Tina. She was helping with front desk and later helped with the restaurant during breakfast. She was going around every table asking if any guests needed anything additional. She was making waffles, coffee, and even bringing food from a buffet bar to each and every guest. She really went out of her way to make sure everyone's stay was spectacular. The room was excellent. Clean and modern, with a in-room hot spring bath. Our room was on the 1st floor. The bathroom shower also doubled as a steam room. A lot of little details and features they include free of charge. Pros +: -Newer Hotel -Excellent Service -Shuttle Service until 8 pm -Free Breakfast -Excellent value for the price paid Cons -: -15-20 min hike from Xinbeitou MRT Station -Breakfast selection can be better (food is good, but lack of selection) Tips: -This hotel does book quite fast, so book ahead. -Book a room away from the basement, so you get a view of the valley. -If you plan on returning late to the hotel, call a taxi (average fare $90-120NT)
