Stay Hotel - Taichung Zhongqing

We got two rooms. We traveled with small children and the hotel was very accommodating! The rooms were clean equipped with all amenities needed. The hotel also provided free parking which was so convenient! I would recommend this hotel to families!

We were on a family trip to Tainan and spent a night at Taichung. We found this hotel at Hotels.com which look OK with reasonable price. The room is clean but smaller than we expected. The parking place is away from hotel and we have to off load the luggage before moving to parking lots. Its location is a little away from downtown and night market which seems inconvenient as it has no bus route passing by. We took us 20 minutes to walk to the nearby nigh market as it’s extremely difficult to find parking places over there. The breakfast is OK but not up to our expectations. Overall, it’s an OK hotel but we would a nicer one near the downtown next time.

We came as a family of five. Muslim friendly hotel. Room has qibla direction, toilet has bidet spray. Prayer mats were provided during our stay. Lift was very speedy. Room was clean and comfortable. Good quality toiletries provided. Although Muslim friendly, not too sure if the chicken served in their breakfast dishes was from halal source so we skiped that and had toast with butter and jam. The kitchen staff was kind enough to provide us with hard boiled eggs. Overall a pleasant experience.
