Engimatt City & Garden Hotel

We just stayed two nights but found the hotel conveniently located close to a Mall and the room was comfortable for our family of 4. The staff were also very helpful.

We stayed for one night when visiting Zurich and found the location convenient (close to train station and tram stops), easily walkable, quiet, and safe. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was lovely - clean and spacious for the family. We had a small balcony that overlooked the area neighborhood, which we all enjoyed. Overall, it was a fantastic stay.

We stayed 4 nights at the Engimatt as a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teen boys). The location of the hotel was great for us: close to the city center but in a quieter, more residential neighborhood. It's a quick and easy tram ride to Zurich HB....it's also walking distance from the Zurich Enge station where there are direct trains to Lucerne and other popular destinations. The Sihl City mall is nearby, including a large Coop grocery store and many restaurant options. The family room was perfect: a double bed and 2 individual twin beds. Staff were very friendly and helpful, including the front desk as well as the breakfast. Breakfast was excellent: lots of hot and cold options. The room includes a small fridge as well as a coffee maker. We enjoyed the patio off of our room: it faced a garden area with trees and was a nice spot to relax after a day of sightseeing. Overall we highly recommend Engimatt and would gladly stay again on a future visit to Zurich.
