Boutique Hotel Wellenberg

This property was everything I needed for my vacation, the staff was very professional and helpful as well as pleasant. The location was so nice( despite the construction) going on outside the hotel, it was the ideal location for me and my family. Again, the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable of all my questions. I truly enjoyed that we were in close proximity to everything we needed.

I traveled with family and we love this hotel. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping! I highly recommend!

Best location, charming plaza in old town, walk to train and opera house. Family room we had excellent, spacious and well equipped, even had an Xbox for kids! All staff personable, Ruth in breakfast room so friendly! There’s a wonderful common living room for families to meet and socialize, breakfast sufficient. Loved our stay! Highly recommend

Fantastic hotel. Our entire family raved about it. The gentleman who checked us in was simply the best. He was friendly, engaging, humorous and informative. From the outset, we liked the place. The room was excellent. we stayed in the owner’s suite and it was perfect for our family of three with two rooms and two bathrooms. The library on the second floor with coffee and soft drinks was an excellent spot to check email and do some work. Location is fantastic as the hotel sits on a small square. Plenty of restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

Lovely hotel full of character with a great library and games/family room. There is a terrace outside for breakfast as well as inside. The bed/mattress was too soft for me though.

At first glance at the hotel i was a little worried as it is located in old town, but once you walk into the doors the hotel is really modern for being in such a old building. The beds were very comfortable. I would stay there again. The only down side was the fact the listing on expedia said the hotel had air conditioning but our room did not. When i asked to be moved to a room with air conditioning the staff were not able to help me with that but did put 2 fans in the room to help cool it down. I was worried about the heat of the room, but i slept like a baby and the fans helped a lot. I would not hesitate to stay there again because the staff were super friendly and the breakfast was a little more than what i would consider a continental breakfast.

This is a beautiful family owned property. We arrived early but fortunately our room was ready. The room was outstanding — very large with plenty of storage. Bed was very comfortable with quality linens. There is a lovely outside area on the 2nd floor next to the breakfast room (breakfast is included). This property is close to so many restaurants. If you go to Zurich stay here — you will not be disappointed

10/10 for location and the staff felt like family! I arrived early and they assisted me with traveling around the city with maps and where to go! I literally called down for an iron and within 2 min it was at my door. The breakfast is really good- meat, cheese, fruit and more! This is the best place as the rooms are spacious, great view and in the city center closer to the water. This is the best price you will find as well! Definitely will go back and stay here!

Small and intimate with a great family run feel. Great location too. Breakfast was very good to start your day out. Would recommend.

We were in a group of four, including one toddler and were put into the family suite at the top floor of the hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay as our room was comfortable, clean, spacious and modern. The staff were friendly - both at front counter and at the breakfast bar. Our son really enjoyed the family room where he got to play doctor and ride on the little riding horse, while the adults could enjoy a cup of coffee and lounge on the relaxibg sofa. Found out to my surprise that scrambled eggs and bacon are included as part of the breakfast package, which we enjoyed. Overall, a full thumbs up and would heartily recommend a stay there.
